Ended up only playing 9 holes. Most didn’t have grass on the Tee Boxes and the grass was pretty much dead. Looks like it hasn’t been maintained or watered. Hole 8 and Hole 9 were the only ones with consistent grass. We didn’t end up doing 18 and went to the driving range instead. And this is why they get 4 stars. This area was very enjoyable. I hope the golf course gets some much need love and money and time. I will be back to use the driving range, and hopefully one day wanna play a round a golf again there.

I paid for a golf cart rental and was denied access after I already paid. I asked for my money back and was told i could ride the cart with my friend that he rented. I will never go back here again.

I'm not normally one to give a bad review on anybody. I will give a good review on somebody but I feel like people need to know. Because I have my boys with me this past week. We initially had a tee time in broken bow but we spent the day before out on the lake all day and they didn't get up in time so I said well we just go to Paris and play pine ridge I've never played there before. It cost me $34 for each of us. I played a lot of golf over the past 25-30 years I even lived in South Florida for a while which probably ruined me for what a really good golf course is now. But I've played him some cow pastures in West Texas and Central Texas and I have never played anywhere like this. There was not one fairway that didn't have hard concrete dirt or just was not kept cut or anything. The tee boxes were terrible there was not one of them that you could put a golf tee in without having to hammer it down or press so hard you break your tea every time. The fairways if it was decent they were not trimmed and cut properly. I think charging that much for a place like that is ridiculous. because my younger two have never really played much so it was kind of a learning experience and we were going to teach them. My oldest plays on the golf team at the school where he goes to. It's hard to teach a youngster the game of golf when every time you get a ball no matter where you hit it you never had a good lie. So whoever owns this golf course now I think a lot of improvements need to be made. I would never want to take my kids somewhere and waste a whole day somewhere playing on concrete. It was not a fun experience at all especially for my younger two wanting to learn to play very discouraging. I mow 30 acres at my house that I keep really low and clean and have golf sticks up and random places that we can hit to and it's literally a cow pasture it's better fairways than your place.

Played Pine Ridge on November 6, 2023 with 3 buddies on golf / camping trip. 1st day we played Sulpher Springs CC....what a great facility, layout and superb conditions. Played Pine Ridge next...I have played for over 40 years and have never played a course in worse condition....it was so bad it was funny. Several holes on the tee box it took several minutes to figure out the fairway and green locations. Most fairways were just pasture weeds and baked clay...no grass to speak of. The greens...not very...patchy, bald, dirt. The joke was to use a 7 iron to putt with. There is no maintenance ...a complete give up by ownership on an interesting tract of land that could be a nice course. The employees we encountered were polite and friendly. Pro shop and restrooms clean. The driving range was small but semi covered, had TopTracer and high top tables ...this is the best part of the facility.

The course is in really, really bad shape. It clearly has not been cared for in years. Very poor signage makes it so you’re not sure where to go or which green to aim for. The first hole is extremely dangerous; it’s directly adjacent to the hitting range, making it so shots whizz by you constantly as you’re trying to play - I was almost hit by 3 range balls in under a minute of trying to play my ball. Not to mention, the entire fairway is littered with hundreds of range balls. Pretty much every green is a minimum of 50% sand, and the grass that is there is basically the length of rough. Fairways have tons of yardage without any grass as well. Overall, this place needs to be completely overhauled to be able to charge any sort of fee to play, or turned into a free course if they don’t want to make it playable. I would highly recommend taking a nap instead of playing here in its current state.
