Well maintained course, was in great shape. I only remember one green that had some bad patches. Had some drainage / standing water issues here and there - e.g. bunker full of water, few swampy areas in the rough -- but we had heavy rain for a couple days recently, and I'm sure drainage is complicated with Lake Conroe right there. Great value regardless; even better once it dries out I'm sure.

Course in good shape considering the recent hurricane. Some of the greens need work. Clean facilities and friendly staff. New golf carts. Play was moderately fast. Cart girl made frequent rounds.

One of the better golf courses on the north side up by woodlands/ Conroe area. Take note Westfork and River Plantation, they still maintain a good course regardless of drought or floods. Also now one of my favorite holes is the 8th, par 3 145 where I hit my first hole in one on may 22, 2025. Only blemish was the 17th hole but it looks like the staff is actively working on the repairs. And little disappointed didn't see a beverage girl but understandable as the transition from school to summer so, but definitely would recommend for around the same price you play those other courses whos management teams make excuse and take your money, at the golf club at margaritaville you will enjoy your round with your buds

I'll give it a 5 stars because I cant do 4.5. The course is coming along since I played few months ago. Fairways are still rough but coming back. New grass was planted in multiple holes. Greens are in good shape. Tee boxes are very hard to put a tee in. Overall not bad if you can get a good deal.

Greens are super green, fairways about 3/5 with dirt spots and little high grass, tee box are hard dirt that you can’t put a wood/plastic tee in it. Overall good track if you can get in on a hot deal and carts run pretty good no gps tho. Played on 3/22/25
