Great course with some challenging holes. The carts themselves have advanced technology where it tracks which hole you’re at, where on the course you’re at, as well as give you the digital layout of the hole so you can see where the sandpits and waterways are. It also lets you know if you are pacing behind or ahead. The greens are very well kept and there are marshals that come by every now and then to monitor pace and make sure there are no issues (without being intrusive at all).

Great course in Missouri City. Only El Dorado is open right now but it plays great. Greens were immaculate and fast. It’s a tough course with a lot of water, and if you’re not in the fairway it’ll beat you up. Fair course in great condition. My favorite hole is 7, a long par of 5 that runs along a big lake, it’s very unique and beautiful but with a tough landing zone around the green! At least 10 holes have water hazards so I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners. Club “shack” is always friendly, Marshalls are super cool and you can tell they love golf. Only thing I would critique is that the turn does not have concessions but the beverage cart comes by often. If you’re in the area you can’t go wrong playing this course, definitely worth the price!

Everything is good here! Located conveniently near HWY 6 and University Drive, greens and fairways well kept, diverse holes with plenty of traps and lakes, plenty of shade for the summer months, really nice clubhouse area, you can get very good deals on the course fees, golf carts well kept, two courses to play on, lots of parking, and shot guns kept on schedule. Oh and the beer is ice cold!😁

It was my first time playing here this weekend. The weather was very awesome, a bit windy, but Did not affect play to a great extent. The golf shop staff was extremely polite and courteous. I played the La Quinta 18 as there are 2 full courses here. Unexpectedly the building that the golf shop was in was massive. It has a full restaurant and many other amenities. It appeared to be a city center building. I practiced at the range - 7$. It was very narrow, and too crowded meaning the spacing between each golfer was too close. I felt very uncomfortable. Also the mats were very hard to hit off of definitely needs new surfaces here. The course condition was very good. Cart path only today because of rain the day before. I must say that the tee boxes, fairways and greens were in decent shape. There were a few greens that need attention, but it was minor. The course was challenging and had a nice layout. Overall a great experience at a great price.

Played El Dorado and this place flat-out ate my lunch today. Tons of blind water hazards lurking out there. The guy I was paired with had never played here either, so neither of us had a clue where the trouble was hiding. You can hit what feels like a perfect shot… only to watch it disappear into a hazard you never saw coming. Ended up with my worst score of the season here today. Hopefully, if you play this course, you’ll get paired with someone who knows the layout and can warn you where to aim (and more importantly, where not to). That said—nice track, and I’d play it again in a heartbeat. Now that I know where the danger is, I’m confident I could shave at least 5 shots off my score. If you do give it a go, do yourself a favor—bring extra balls. 😂
