As a new member to Westridge and their boom membership, I’ve been nothing but thrilled and enjoyed every second of it. I’ve had personal experiences with everyone up there in the shop. Everyone is great, but if you get the chance to deal with Paxton or Micah, they have gone above and beyond for me and they’ve really welcomed me and my kids and my family to this place. With all the changes there and News of a head pro leaving I really hope they would consider one of these two in Paxton or Micah fill that role.

Signed up for the $99/ month membership and realized it is worthless. When I signed up it was $79/month and they raised the price without informing me. This wanna be top golf location has 15 worn out mats in the evening to hit off and it is always packed with kids. If I want to hit balls after work I can reserve a bay and pay $30 an hour on top of the monthly fee. In addition the staff is rude and the greens are in bad shape. Worst part is there are no other options in the area. Greedy and dishonest. I signed up right around 30 days ago and no one bothered to tell me about an increase. I would not have signed up for that price.

5/8/25– Cart path only after recent rain. Playing as a foursome. No one in front of us and a single behind us, that the Marshall told us not to let thru for some reason. Next group two holes behind him almost. We were told by the second Marshall that approached us that if we don’t speed up he will have to make us. We were 8 minutes behind pace playing cart path only and no one behind. Marshalls need to back off at this course. Every time I play here they have something negative to say. I’ve been told to move faster when our cart says 5 minutes ahead before. Course conditions, fairways and tee boxes are good. Greens have always been mediocre at this course. Shaggy, bumpy, hardly ever roll true. Also, not sure if they’re redoing bunkers or if it’s because of the rain, but we pulled every ball out because it was will with rocks. It would be nice if they had some ground under repair signs or someone mentioned it pre round.

Charging $24 for a large bucket, full of mediocre balls, and off worn out mats is INSANE. They also replaced their chipping area with a turf putting course that is a separate charge. Pricing people out of golf is a weird business move. Much respect to people who can afford this place. I know about the membership. But like a lot of people in the area I can’t play or practice golf multiple times a month, nor do I live close enough for it to make sense. Thanks for the sassy reply, Westridge! 👍

5/18/2025 - Why I Cancelled My Membership at Westridge Golf Course I’ve never written a public review before. I’m not someone who jumps online to complain or vent frustrations—I work in the customer service industry, and I understand that not every situation is perfect. But I also understand the importance of respect and how much it matters in customer - facing environments. What Happened My group was on the 8th green when the cart marshal pulled up to us with an aggressive attitude. Without any courtesy or professionalism, he told us “Get your sticks moving—we play ready golf here.” His tone was disrespectful from the start without any previous interactions to back it up, and when we tried to explain the situation, he doubled down —speaking even more rudely. Here’s the context: while playing the 8th fairway, we briefly stopped to grab drinks from the cart girl. We didn’t linger—we just picked up a few beverages instead of waiting until the turn. To be absolutely clear before anyone tries to Blaine the “drink” stop: this was the first drink I had purchased that day, and had taken maybe two sips before the marshal came at us with an attitude. Let’s not pretend this was about that, I’m writing this the next day. We had been right behind the group in front of us all day, and as we approached the 9th tee, we could literally see them just getting onto the green. We played hole 9 and moved onto the 10th hole, where two groups were already waiting. So within one hole, we were completely back in rhythm with the pace of play. The Bigger Issue This wasn’t about being behind—it was about how we were treated. Golf is a game built on respect and etiquette, and what we experience was the opposite. The marshals tone and approach were unnecessary, confrontational, and out of line. I went to the clubhouse after the front 9 to let management know we felt disrespected and that an apology was warranted. I made it clear that if this is how members are treated, I would prefer to cancel my membership. I was heated, situation had just happened and I apologize for that, still should have never happened in the first place. Their response? Silence. No apology. No accountability. From that moment forward, I was ignored. Even when we returned to the restaurant after our round, staff members who would usually say hello were suddenly looking the other way. It was obvious we were being avoided—and that made it worse. I work in customer service. I know what it means to take feedback seriously and how important it is to treat people with basic courtesy—even when things go sideways and that did not happen here. Until Westridge makes serious changes to how they manage both their staff and their customer relationships, I can’t recommend it anymore.
