Played a 2 man here and although everyone was very nice, the course was in terrible shape. The greens are the worst Ive played in East Texas, and that's saying a lot. Making a putt was next to impossible because of all the crabgrass, dead spots and bumps on the greens. The tee boxes were like hitting out of the rough, even on a tee the grass was still above the ball almost. There was maybe one green that was OKAY, but even saying that is being generous. And there is basically no cart path the entire course. Not only that, some members definitely boosted some scores and only members just so happened to win all the flights.. weird. Won't be back and don't really recommend unless you're a high school kid or desperate to play. Could be a really nice little course if they invested in the greens and the course a little though

It's a Muni; you get what you pay for. The Swirling Winds can be enjoyed, someone took one of my golf balls (whatever); push-up greens (native soil) and are cut maybe too low needs to be 3/8th & not 3/16th : par 4s & par 5 are VERY Spacious - small Golf Shop. Carts not available after certain afternoon hours. Parking Lot is made for SUVs & Trucks. Friendly Staff

Nice little 9 hole course. Good if you need a quick golf fix. Greens are very small and can be tough to get your ball to stay on. They are in good shape thought. There is a small driving range and putting green for practice. Can get busy so when you come back around there might be a wait to start another 9. Very reasonable prices.

You get what you pay for here. Probably the cheapest green and cart fees I've ever heard of, which is awesome. But unfortunately that means less money for the course. It is a pretty course in its own light, if you can tolerate some rough greens and few poorly maintained cart paths. I take pleasure in golfing here, there aren't many places you can play for such a low price. Its a fairly short 9 hole course, but enjoyable. There are not too many parallel fairways, so less risk of being pummeled with sliced balls.
