Nice drive from the concrete jungle to play on a well groomed and maintained course a few degrees cooler in the woods. It's quite refreshing even in the middle of summer. The staff is super friendly and helpful (not snooty or pretentious like other facilities). Even the locals and members are kind. The marshall is very active and moves the pace forward avoiding backups. Im a high handi and i was never told to play faster. Heartwarming to observe and play around the active wildlife and the custom homes spaced plenty far away from the course. The price is extremely fair especially compared to other courses in same condition and quality. I really like the auto parking brake in the carts so i dont have to fight the pedal. Imo its Houston areas best kept secret. So good i actually dont want to share haha but they deserve the praise. Hope they are able to keep it up.

Heart4Children has hosted its Golf Tournament @ High Meadow for the past three years. The course is Truly beautiful and such a unique location. The staff are amazing and Emily Nolley was so easy to work with and made things run so smoothly.

First time visiting Texas and thus this course. I had pretty high expectations given the cost. The course was in pretty good condition and the staff at check in were kind and helpful. The reason for the 3 star was the marshal. They paired me up with a member and another 2 some. We had a 3 groups of 2 behind us so it did not take long before they were waiting on us. I get their frustrations as I have been in the same spot but we were staying ahead of the 4 hour pace that is generally expected and at $100 a round we deserve to play out round as long as we keep pace. Yet 4 times the Marshal told us to pick it up. By the end 2 of the guys were so pissed off they weren’t enjoying their round. In the end we ran 3 hours 50 min from tee off to bags back in car and leaving the parking lot. I think they should use the timed play method to marshal more than if a fast group is catching a slower group. On our 10 day trip I have played 8 different courses and this is the first time I was ever told to pick it up. And don’t get me wrong.. I have been on many courses where it was a frustrating 5 hour round because a group ahead is going slow but as long as you are keeping the stated pace of play then let them play.

Great place for a fundraiser or for a round of golf. It is a beautiful, well-kept golf course with lots of amenities. As mentioned, it is a great place to hold an event of any kind. There is plenty of parking and a large banquet room as well.

This place has gone downhill recently. Lost some parts of the greens and it’s just dirt. Fairways were cut and there was clumps of dead grass everywhere. Catching flyers out of the fairway is always fun. And they’re rude as hell now. One of the Marshalls asked us to speed up. We told him we had a junior golfer (which we paid for) and he said he understood. Especially with 3 holes being cart path only. We promised to pick up our pace. One and a half holes later a different Marshall came zooming around corner to yell at us telling us we had the whole course backed up, we looked back and there was no one even visible at the box behind us. Then tells me to hurry and and pick up my ball and move. As I’m addressing the ball. It’s stupid to pay over $100 a round and get treated so poorly. This place used to be where I’d go when I wanted a nice round. It has lost that to me. Now I’ll go to Cypresswood or golf club of Houston. Never been treated like this there. And for those wondering how long we took. We played 18 in 4 hours 20 mins with a junior and CPO on 3 holes on a Sunday.
