Wonderful course in great shape. I went on a very wet day so obviously path only. Aside from some flooding on one hole, which frankly was outside of their control, the course was immaculate. On a nice weather day this course would be a gem. Would recommend 10/10. Fun layout, challenging but fair, awesome staff, checks all the boxes.

At Sugartree operations and course conditions continue to improve making it the premier golf destination in the area. Greens consistently roll between 10.5 and 11.0 on the stimp and new maintenance equipment has made them the best they have ever been.

So glad we made the trip out to Sugar Tree today. We were rained out of our scheduled tee time and had to pivot. We called the pro shop and Debbie was incredibly helpful and let us know that they were still open and it would be CPO. The course is in GREAT shape, greens were by far the best of any public course I’ve played in a long time. It looks like ownership is really working to improve the course, and it’s working. It’s truly unique and I would highly encourage anyone to go play this course. And make sure you get a swirl at the turn.

Awesome course! Well maintained and very enjoyable. I just fall apart on some of these holes. Call to make sure there is not a tournament planned that day. Course was crowded with the scramble tournament happening when I went. I had groups of five in front of us and not sure if they were part of the tournament, or if we just happened to catch up to them on hole 10. But being behind a group of 5 with 2 of us behind them slowed the pace down. Looking on the brighter side, any day on the golf course is still better than a day at the office! There is an overflow parking at the lodge across the pond. No bridge across the pond, so if you’re lucky they might have someone with a golf cart going back and forth, or you might just have to walk to get a cart.
