This place is great!! I said fix my cart bc it won’t start so they did get it started and called me to tell me I would need a clutch b4 putting it on so they didn’t just do the work within permission!! The mechanic is very funny and knows his stuff! If your cart needs any work done or a facelift. This is a place to go. It’s really the place to go.

Worst possible place to get your golf cart looked at. Money hungry childish man that runs this place. Had to edit my review because he threatened to call his attorney for defamation. Will never recommend this place to anyone I talk to. I’m sure he’s going to add in our conversation of our encounter so be prepared for that. This place is unorganized, and will blame you for their mess ups with information on what you owe for their services.

THEY HELD MY CART FOR A YEAR... I spent $1100!!! Got it back with no brakes.. they lost my top. Charged me for a new one.. my brand new headlights that were working are now blowing fuses.... U would have more fun lighting your money on fire than to mess with this place. 12/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

To celebrate a milestone, my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a new golf cart. Selection Our quest commenced with research which quickly led us to E-Z-GO as the manufacturer, and SDI lithium battery-powered as the technology. Price Next, we invited quotes from E-Z-GO dealers across Texas on a new lithium battery-powered golf cart. Liberty Golf Cars out of Beaumont was the first to reply. Their quote was remarkably lower than the other 12 quotes received – differentiated enough to make it well worth an hour and a half drive to pursue. Dealing In Beaumont, we met with Liberty Golf Cars owner Doug Mellen who patiently listened to our requirements, and showed us all standard and optional features available. Doug was very flexible on pricing on selected upgrades which for us included premium seats, turn signals, 3.0 lithium battery and custom paint. A Few Glitches A day before delivery we noticed the rear flip seat we had ordered was not the one in the pictures sent of our nearly ready car. The supplier had stopped supplying but we were unaware. But Liberty ended up having one on premise that they gladly swapped onto our car. Upon delivery we noted a few concerns including a required alignment adjustment, and the car arrived completely uncharged, so we could not test drive. However, all was resolved in less than two days. Delivery Delivery was made directly to our home, well over an hour away, by a delivery professional. Overall Experience Our overall experience with Liberty Golf Cars was very positive as they quickly made adjustments to meet our demands. We learned that Doug keeps top notch employees in the office, shop and delivery. A scroll through their Facebook page and it’s apparent Doug values each of them. To top this off, Doug destroyed everyone else on price as our new golf car was easily $1,500 less than all others. We highly recommend Liberty Golf Cars.

Took my golf cart in because my brand new batteries went dead. They did not check anything on cart but replaced the batteries for $1000 , kept my other batteries. Batteries went dry again and he will not do anything. I will never go back unless I can sue him for the $1000 he owes plus he is the rudest person I have ever met.
