I attended Battle of the Battalions last year, Military Appreciation Day last weekend, and I have played a few times on the course outside of these events and all were fantastic experiences. For the events, the whole community comes together and makes the day truly special. Not to mention the amount of work and coordination that goes into it is astonishing to see especially when it is at no cost to service members (free golf and a meal can’t be beat, plus many other things). The effort to make it happen really makes a service member like myself feel very appreciated and welcomed. I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone involved and I hope to see these type of events continue for future service members to come.

They’ve been making improvements at certain holes. Most recent one is hole 17. They take care of facilities and the cart paths are maintained better than other courses. Also other players aren’t rude and staff is excellent. They have a canteen truck going around on the course saturdays and sundays.

A really nice golf course. The hills surrounding it are beautiful. Give a try if you are in town. Driving range is excellent, prices make it a steal. Young man at counter Daniel makes you feel like a VIP!

Nice Golf Course, Has a good Driving range. There is a sign at the Driving Range that says you must use the mats. The reason for the low score is as follows: 1. Driving mats need to be replaced if they don’t want you to drive off the grass as they have needed to be replace over 3 years ago. and are torn up and thread bare. Not sure what the Tee times are? 10 mins apart or 15 mins? 2. Definitely need to have someone at TEE 1 to verify Tee times! Last time I played on a Sunday 14 Sep there was 4 groups ahead of me trying to Tee off at the same Tee time that I had reserved for 1000 hrs. Why have Reservations Tee Times if you aren’t going to enforce them. 3. During the week I have notice around 1400 1 1600 kids that are practicing golf are running around in golf carts with no adult in the carts. 4. but yet the Golf Marshal will stop you if you have your son or daughter driving the golf cart even if you as an adult are sitting next to them in a golf cart. 5. After playing nine hole while turning in the golf carts I said something to the desk about the issue of 4 groups trying to tee off at the same time that I was reserved for. Was giving a BS answer that this is a group that shows up late a lot of times and basically was told they were trying to fit them in. Will add photos so there isn’t no misunderstanding.

We were really looking forward to our round at The Hills of Cove, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in several areas. The course was in poor condition—fairways were overgrown, making it difficult to locate balls even after hitting good shots. The greens were scalped yet still played incredibly slow, which made putting frustrating. To make matters worse, course maintenance was happening during play. Groundskeepers had carts parked directly on the greens, getting in the way of approach shots and chipping, which is both unprofessional and disruptive. We also took advantage of what was supposed to be a “kids play free” day for those under 15, but were still charged full price for my two sons, aged 14 and 12. That added to the disappointment. Overall, it was not the experience we expected or hoped for. I would recommend checking the course conditions and confirming any promotions in advance before booking a round here.
