The course is as nice as any in the RGV that is offered to the public. The fairways are lush and the greens are in great condition. Only the tee boxes need some attention. Holes are challenging so make sure you find a suitable tee level. Use of golf carts is recommended as distance between most holes is considerable.

The golf course is in its best condition over the past 4-5 years, thanks to the new ownership that has revitalized it. The greens are exceptional, the layout is impressive, and the staff is extremely welcoming. With great prices, I highly recommend that everyone in the valley come and experience it for themselves.

Greens are in great shape, fairways are are looking good as well. Terrain outside of fairways could be little rough just slow down on the carts. Wish I took pictures to upload them! Best condition i’ve seen the course I’ve gone probably like 5 times in the last 3 years.

This is arguably one of the worst golf courses to play at. Hard dirt in the middle of the fairways, horrible stench at some holes, and overall very poorly maintained. Half of the course is hard ground with no grass to be seen. The greens are mostly brown. The staff was friendly and the benches are nice, but terrible to play overall. I would recommend golfing at Tony Butler or Brownsville instead. Save you money and time. I paid for 18 holes but was completely done after 5, that’s how bad it is. If you’re looking for a place to play, this is not it.

I must say, I was expecting a better experience having heard that the course was much improved as it was my first time playing. Unfortunately I was left disappointed. Greens were in incredibly rough shape, looking like they’ve gone under some recent work. Many of the tee boxes were barren. The cart paths show age and need some work. Signage around the course is hard to follow and carts can be a bit aggravating. The layout of the course has MUCH potential and some parts of the course are lush. But it just isn’t consistent across the course. I’ll try it again in the future, but won’t rush right back.
