Great course. We were here for our State XC Championship Meet. It's amazing to see 100s of high school runners racing through the rolling golf course. Thankful for Cottonwood Creek allowing us to compete on their course.

The experience at this golf course was nothing short of infuriating. From the moment we arrived, the staff was rude and condescending to us as first-time golfers, treating us like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. They gave us the wrong tee time and then had the audacity to argue with us about it as if we had made the mistake. Instead of offering a solution, they pressured us to rush through our game, sucking any enjoyment out of what should have been a fun learning experience. On top of that, they insisted that everyone have their own clubs — which is understandable — but refused to offer rentals. It was an unwelcoming, hostile environment that made it clear they had no interest in helping newcomers feel comfortable or respected.

Got the opportunity to drop golf balls for a couple of tournaments hosted here! Its a wonderful course very well maintained and the staff is very friendly!

Harassment 24/7. See a bunch of guys in their upper 20s and follow us around the whole time. Two groups of 4 playing faster than 1 group of two but we get harassed. Try to stop at the turn and spend money and get harassed again that we need to go to the next tee box (10). Greens have weeds. Fairways are meh. For the price and the headache, not worth it. Pace of play sucks because they get onto the wrong people. Sub par course play Lake Waco if you're in the area.

Fairways are in excellent condition. Some greens are still being worked on at the edges. All in all this course is in the best condition it has been in years.
