I know it's not the best course in the county and I have no complaints about the course, it has improved enough, and I have had a good time there. People have been nice to me.

Confusing, not intuitive golf course. Would best be served with a map on score cards, or available somewhere. Overall, there seems to be the need to improve course management by owners, members, and patrons in following, obeying rules, regulations. Common courtesy would be appreciated from people with their carts by staying on paths not fairways. Non-playing, inconsiderate people driving around on carts should be forbidden because they drive up stop, watch, pass on through. This place should be for members, golf players, and friends to have pleasant fun, but not for fishing. There should be a limit to number of people in a group.

To the Gatesville Golf Course Manager who replied to my previous post. Even if I saw on the website that a Club Fitting would take place, why didn't the person making the T-Time ensure We knew the range was closed? We were on the Front 9 until 12:00. Why were not informed the Front 9 would close at ANY TIME? What about the Over 16 Members all with their own cart? No one ever apologized to us. And there were several Members that are ignorant and obnoxious. FYI, the Board Member we met had to explain how to find the first hole. We have played at other courses and used the Driving Range, when a Demo was taking place. As far as coming back to be subject to your Members, no thank you!

Recently visited Gatesville Country Club for business and golf. Excellent lunch service was provided by Leah. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The course was maintained better than expected for a December day. This is a fun yet challenging course with medium speed greens. My colleagues have already asked about a return trip to your course. Thanks for making our brief stay enjoyable!

Overall: Horrible service, Poor grass and Poor greens! Go Elsewhere! Full: I've heard that this golf course had a bad reputation in the area and to play elsewhere. I should have listened! Tried playing it today and wish I didn't. Poor grass, poor greens and horrible service. Very snobby type people, especially at the bar in the club house. Not welcoming at all. It's not that hard to put a smile on your face and be happy. My business partner Brandon and I went golfing this morning to get away from the hustle-and-bustle of the business world since it's "Labor Day" and were treated with disrespect by "adults" who tried to push around a couple of what they thought were "kids." Well, it's too bad because we are successful local business owners who do much more business world wide! Had hoped to bring many clients to this golf course for years to come. Again... very poor place. Will spend my money wisely next time. Good luck....
