A nice 9 hole par 3. Plenty of water to keep you honest. Walkable but hilly. Nice people at the small clubhouse.

My son had been out playing most the day. I came to pick him up and play 9. First time playing the course. He met me on the first hole. I asked him if we needed to go pay. He said most people start on 1 and pay on 6. I haven’t played in a while. On top of that I left my clubs at home so I was playing with my kiddos clubs. Took us a while to get to 6. Whoever the grizzly attendant was came out pissed off that it had taken us so long to get to 6. Before we finished the hole I went in to pay him. He said I’ve been letting your kid play all day for free. That’s awesome but he was kind of throwing it in our faces and kept questioning why it took so long for us to finish. We never finished yet I payed for 9 holes. We played 6. I tried to explain to him why but he thought we were like others trying to play the course for free. That’s not us. We’ll be back to play again. Awesome par 3. Just hoping y’all will get your attendants to bring the attitude level down a bit. I realize he probably wanted to go home but maybe work on how you talk to people.

This course is a gem. It's in very good condition and has plenty of water to make it interesting to play.

Just went for my very first round of golf ever here with my brother! It was so much fun. The guy in the pro shop is super chill guy and that helped break my nerves haha. The course is beautiful. With wild life running around (squirrels, geese, I think I saw a crane) the course is very walkable and although it was hot. Plenty of places to stop in the shade for a minute. It wasn’t to packed where we felt rushed or anything but there were a few other groups there and fishermen. All super nice! I will say watch out for whole 8! Haha me and my brother lost about 3 balls in the water before we decided to take a drop haha. Although this is the first course I’ve been to. It has set the bar very high. I will definitely be returning and I’m even considering getting a non-resident membership. Just wish the website gave a little more info on it! Thanks for a great first round of golf (score was 61 from the white tees)

My husband and I were excited to check out this golf course. Upon checking in, the attendant/ cashier was extremely rude! The absolute worst customer service I have ever received. It dampened the entire experience. The older man gave us attitude because we did not know where to pay! Mind you it was our first time there. Any questions we had he answered rudely as if we were bothering him. Had we not paid the deposit online we would have left! He didn’t even give us a score card or let us know where they were so we could grab them. We will not be returning nor recommending this course at all. Texas 9 has much better customer service.
