East River 9 is a nice, outdoorsy establishment that offers Pickleball and Golf. For our visit, we opted for the Pickleball experience, which may require a reservation to ensure that you have an opportunity to play depending on the time of day and weather. From my friend's prior experience (with East River 9 being booked and busy) she made a two hour reservation in advance for our Pickleball session. Unfortunately, we came at time when it was prime time heat time (at least it sure did feel like it) on a Saturday (which I definitely wouldn't recommend), however, we still had a grand time. As it pertains to cost, the two hour session was about $85, which was approximately $21 (if you have four people) per person. One thing to note is that East River 9 also allows for you to rent paddles and balls for about $7, in the event that you don't own paddles or balls. The court is fairly nice and there is a covered seating area with fans that is close to the court. Additionally, they have water coolers strategically placed outside. There is also a restaurant a few steps away from the court (disclaimer, I didn't have the opportunity to try the food here). To sum it all up, a goodT, active time was had here!

I’m really disappointed to leave this review, as I was looking forward to dining in here. Unfortunately, I became seriously ill shortly after my visit, and it appears the salmon dish I ordered was the cause. I experienced classic food poisoning symptoms within hours. While the staff was friendly and the ambiance pleasant, food safety is non-negotiable. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident, but I encourage the restaurant to review their food handling and hygiene practices—especially with seafood.

Nice range. Like how this place is tucked back in a pretty low key downtown-adjacent area. Great views of Houston skyline. I like coming first thing in AM on weekends. I paid just over $15 for a large bucket of balls. Pretty reasonable to me, relatively speaking.

Our group of 6 decided to spend a rainy Saturday morning having brunch here. Our waiter, Austin, was awesome. We never lacked anything, and he was very responsive. Manager Joe gave us a visit to check on how things were about halfway and was very friendly. We had a variety of drinks, including a carafe of mimosas, and the orange juice was delicious. Each of us had something different to eat, and we all absolutely loved what we had. Some notes were that the Cobb salad was great with different textures and flavors. The pancakes were so good, with vanilla bean touches and mixed berries within. Biscuits and gravy were tasty and full of flavor. The omlette and burger were both destroyed in no time due to being so good. This place would be great for brunch, then head outside for a quick 9 holes of gold to walk it off. Then, come back in for drinks at the bar or even your next lunch or dinner. They also have night golf and pickle ball courts for those so inclined. They also have a HUGE outside TV to go along with several other tv's throughout the property. Overall an outstanding place for food fun and friends with a view that can't be beat. This wasn't our first visit and it won't be our last.

This place is awesome. You can’t get a better view while hitting a bucket of balls on the range in Houston. Very nice bar/restaurant on the property as well. Really cool place to get a full day experience with the boys or even your family. Only complaint is that the golf is overpriced for a par 3 course, but you’re paying for the experience & views. Definitely recommend. They also offer outdoor pickleball. Also overpriced, but I’ve already said my piece. 8.8/10.
