Twisted Elms came highly recommended by hotel safe, but I didn't see the why. First they need to control the flys, I couldn't enjoy my meal because I had to keep swatting flys away. Second the fires pickles were super oily, got it with not ranch. Third the 4th quarter burger was flavorless. The waiter Crystal was very helpful and properly the best thing about dinner.

The service is awful.. always a room full of dirty dishes left sitting on table.. their girls are always standing around gabbing.. for the most part their food is good.. butwe ordered a chicken Blanca pizza. The chicken was dry and obviously old and tasted old

Been playing this course for the last 2 months and its slowly getting better and better as it greens up. The staff is always helpful and in a good mood and welcoming. If you're gonna play more than a few times a month get the membership, it's worth it.

Ohh how the mighty have fallen. I remember playing this course basically everyday through out jr high and high school, and getting lessons from Charlie Nelson as a young child. First and foremost it is 18$ for 9 holes walking. Ridiculous considering Amarillo has Ross Rogers at 30$ for 18 holes. (depending on time of day) This course has been neglected and is in the process of being neglected. I measured a 2.64” deep divot on a tee box, along side probably 5-15 other divots that don’t get filled. They literally put sand buckets out every tee box for this reason. How about dogs? I did not know dogs were allowed on this course too, you’d think it was a dog park there was so much shit out there. Sand traps are not raked. The grass here has basically always been dry , and even dead in spots but I genuinely am curious do they even run the sprinklers out here anymore? Trashed out fairways and tee boxes, food wrappers, bottles of beer or water, Powerade ect… litter numerous I understand this is a municipal course and I understand that it’s Dumas Tx but why do the people trash out this place so bad? It’s sad. This place will be closed down soon if they don’t get their butt in gear. I’ve watched too many courses go this exact direction and then turn into housing developments. Especially the municipal courses. No wonder Charlie Nelson left Dumas. This place is sad. The wait staff inside the “clubhouse” (just a sports bar) is probably the worst staff at any restaurant I’ve ever been to. We left because all the tables were dirty with plates and there was no where to sit. I’ve moved from Dumas and was just here visiting my family. I play really nice municipal courses down south, none are this bad. RIP Pheasant Trails you will be missed.
