Played here July 31. Course is in excellent condition. The range is a real pleasure to hit balls. The grass here is plush and green. No need for a tee on par 3’s the ball sits up nicely. Greens are good would be nice if people could fix their ball marks. The carts are in great shape. Couple of the bridges could use replacing. Other than that I would have to say this is in my top 5 public courses in Texas that I have personally played.

First time playing here. Would recommend. Minimal interaction with the staff but they were friendly. Golf courses all assume you’ve been there before so no one is really offering unsolicited advice. Just speak up and ask. Range was busy prior to the tee time but easy to get in and out. Can’t wait to go back

$90 for a weekday round for one golfer is absurd. They charged my 10y/o boy with DS to ride along and the guy at the counter was not pleasant. I will not return the this over priced place. As far as the course, it was in fairly decent shape, beautiful fairways, and difficult greens…course is 3.8 stars.

Unfortunately, my recent experience at Live Oak Golf Course was very disappointing. Our round was significantly delayed by a group of players ahead of us who were playing from the back (black) tees, losing numerous golf balls, and often taking multiple shots from the tee box. Despite calling the pro shop to report the slow play, no marshal ever came to address the situation. The lack of course oversight and attention to pace of play made for a frustrating experience. Regrettably, I do not plan to return.
