I had the pleasure of DJing a wedding at this venue yesterday night. Upon arrival, the grounds make a great impression, with a stately main building set on a sprawling green golf course. The facility is well maintain and nicely designed. I enjoyed the warm hospitality from the venue staff. The main room was nicely furnished, and the side rooms were also spacious and upscale. While my DJ booth was not in the ideal location for the ceremony, the planner communicated well with cues. My location was perfect between the bar and dancefloor during cocktail hour and reception. Overall, great views and sparkling chandeliers make this venue a winner for social a corporate events.

Stonebridge at Newport is an amazing venue to get married at! The venue is absolutely breathtaking and Ginny and the staff does a great job of meeting your needs. They were so great with making my vision come to life and Ginny made the wedding day so stress free! If you are looking for a wedding venue who can produce your fairytale wedding, this is definitely the place to go! The food is delicious and the bar staff is wonderful. They also provide you with great recommendations for vendors that you may need 😊

A pleasant and comfortable establishment with slightly challenging course. Fairways and greens are ok, the place was aerated a few weeks ago and when I visited this week was in better shape, almost fully recovered. I love the old school gas carts. Some parts on the fairway are relatively firm so do look out for those spots.

Ill start with the course conditions first. From what I last remembered the place has improved as far as greenery. Last time was pretty dead. Tee boxes were average, greens were really slow and inconsistent in comparison to others. The layout was nice. Fairways were average. If green speeds were fast this course would be sooo much better. However, it was nice to hit off a grass at the range. Really good prices for range balls. Their medium are other courses large and you didnt have to walk a mile from the clubhouse to the range which was nice. The restaurant was far below average. Not so friendly service, along with pretty much blunt begging for tips. Food was ok though. Would recommend eating before wasting money there in my opinion. Service in clubhouse was pretty awkward. They definitely tend to favorites more than newcomers to hopefully welcome you back. It's almost as if they were annoyed that you came to give them business. Just a distasteful line of bi-polar/favoritism mannerism.

The people in the golf pro shop do not acknowledge that you are even there. I’ve been in twice and they have yet to greet us. I kept quiet just to see if they would ever talk and nothing. I definitely would not buy anything from them.
