6/19/25 8am tee time, started on hole 10 bc they were grinding trees down. Didn’t expect them to follow up half our holes so the loud noise was much appreciated. Then on 2 we were playing our approach shots and the guy just comes and cuts a new hole mid swing like what?! Overall 1-3/9-11 holes look great but rest of the course the fairways need cut and greens look better then the past no sand. Bunkers aren’t playable and tee boxes decent. If the price was $30-40 I would come back but $50-60 bucks I’ll go elsewhere. It’s getting better but still needs work. Maybe next time I’ll ask if they would be grinding down trees during our tee times.

The only good thing about this course is the clubhouse. And that’s still nothing special. Was forewarned about the green conditions, but still was not expecting them to be as bad as they were. Fairways were OK and tee boxes weren’t anything special either. Playing as a foursome we were approached early in the round by the Marshall to allow another foursome of members to jump ahead of us. Later in the round we were approached again by the Marshall telling us to pick up the pace of play. We played a four hour round of golf and that’s with letting one foursome group and a twosome group jump ahead of us along with the slow cart girls that also don’t sell liquor on the course which is something I’ve never heard of before.

We have been two weeks in a row….. the reviews are mostly correct the course is pretty rough but the staff is great and the course has some nice challenging holes. Most courses in Texas seem to be straight lines. This place not only has narrow fairways but 4 of the par 4’s you can’t use a driver. I like the challenge! We will be back!

I paid $74 for a round of golf and a small bucket of balls, but unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing golf course experiences I’ve had. The greens were covered in weeds, and it was difficult to predict where the ball would end up. Many of the putting surfaces were either full of weeds or just bare dirt/mud. The bunkers looked neglected, as if they hadn’t been maintained in weeks. Additionally, the fairways had visible ruts and signs of hog damage. I had high hopes, but sadly, the course didn’t meet expectations.

Not only is the course horrible to play on, the people that work there are incredibly rude and snarky. We've given them a try multiple times and there is always some sort of issue. They want to harrass you about wearing a collared shirt just to shoot a few range balls and then tell you that you can't afford to buy one of their shirts because you probably don't have enough money. I could see requiring a collared shirt if your course was decent, but when it looks as crappy as it does they should be thankful they have people showing up to play on it at all. They are also very demeaning to younger golfers. *You can see by the response of the owner the kind of people you're dealing with at this golf course. Very unprofessional. I'm not a hater, but just submitting my opinion based on our experiences there. Our kids have always followed the rules when playing out there and are still treated very rudely. Looking at other reviews here, I am not alone in my observations of the course conditions and treatment of guests. Your customers won't love you if you provide poor service, but your competitors will! ;)
