A great muni option in Austin — well-maintained, affordable, and extremely playable. We played a twilight round and made it through 16 holes at a good pace. The sunset was absolutely stunning, and catching it from the back half of the course was a highlight. Fairway Cantina at the turn is a nice touch, and the layout offers a solid mix of challenge and approachability. You’ll feel the proximity to the airport at times, but overall it’s a fun experience and one I’d gladly return to.

Course is in decent condition. Range is usually packed at peak hours, which makes it hard to warm up before rounds. Pretty typical for people to play tees longer than they should. Really slows down the pace of play and makes the round less fun.

Stopped by Fairway Cantina after a round and had a great experience. Ally and Ainsley are awesome - super friendly, quick, and really made the whole vibe better. They’ve both made some spot on food reccs too (don’t sleep on the great white taco). It’s clear they care about what they do. Great service all around - will definitely be back.

Gorgeous. I played a twilight round there today and it was immaculate. The new clubhouse/restaurant/bar and outdoor patio is wonderful. The range is great, the practice green is lush and all the new trees will be awesome when they grow over the years. I hadn’t played there in 10 years and super impressed with the improvements and always loved playing that course. It was great to be back! 100% best public course in Austin.

I pay for a monthly range pass here and went in asking why the range was closed again on a clear day (closed 5 days in a row for rain) and range didnt have any puddles or water build up... Golf pro decided to start screaming at me and getting super pissed that I asked the question. Told me "If you want better customer service go somewhere else (Barton Creek mentioned)". Really fit the sterotypical egotistical golf pro who thinks he's the king of the world. What is it with golf pro shops thinking you owe them something and they are mad you are even there?? I will say one lady working there was much more respectful than him and explained in more detail of why the range was closed due to their picker (which is what I was looking for). Golf pro needs to go, what a terrible returning customer experience all due to him. Range is always super crowded though, they only let you hit off grass on the weekends (if the range is even open)
