Went on a coupon- course was in good shape- not great. Had some dry areas but overall not bad. Greens were slow. Nice practice areas & staff was friendly. Exit ranch house road off of 20 in willow park. Deer on the course is always cool to see.

Wow, first time playing here after all these years of going to Squaw Valley. This was a nice surprise! The layout is cool with some elevation changes. The par 3s are long, two are 200 yards from the blues, one is 175-180, and the only short one is 160. The par 5s are reachable except for the 18th, which is straight uphill, and you can reach the creek with your tee shot if you're a long hitter. The greens look like they were punched a few weeks ago, but they're already healing nicely. Didn't even notice. The greens aren't fast or slow. I'm definitely going back. Oh, and one thing, bring your own ice and food because there's no grill, just a vending machine with basic drinks.

What a FANTASTIC surprise this turned out to be! This is HANDS DOWN, the best $58 golf course I've ever had the pleasure of playing. Fairways were very good. Greens were very good. Sure...the tee boxes were a little dry. There were a few other patchy places. But let me just tell you, all in all...just a spectacular find.

Love this course. Incredible layout and value for the $$$! It’s BYOB and they don’t have a restaurant/grill, but if you plan ahead you won’t miss it. The staff here is so friendly and helpful and I’ve never played a round here that took longer than 4 hours… even on days when it’s been CPO. The greens are in EXCELLENT shape and the bunkers are also very well maintained. The course also drains exceptionally well, so even after a good rain it’s not muddy. They also have a massive practice area with perfectly maintained greens for short game work. Really, can’t think of enough great things to say about this place. Run, don’t walk. These guys really have it together. You won’t be disappointed.

I had seen this golf course a couple of years ago rated in the top 50 in the state of Texas. I had it on my list of places to play last year until the pandemic. Decided to make a quick trip up from San Antonio to play it today. And the first few months of the year North Texas was hammered with storm after storm after storm. The golf course in certain places as they told me at 7 to 8 ft of water in the fairways. Even though it wasn't in the best condition today because they're working on it I can tell it's a really good golf course. They've recently aerated the fairways and some of them were in kind of a rough shape. But overall a wonderful experience even though it was hot as blazes today. I can tell it's got potential lots of movement, creeks to head over, undulation on the greens. The staff was friendly nice driving range and putting green. Price was right. Was able to play at 9:30 and buy a hat for $69 total. No food as of yet as far as sandwiches and hot dogs only crackers chips sodas and Gatorade available. He told me they hope to get at least hot dogs back by next week. Would like to come back later in the year once the course is put back together and give it another go. I highly recommend playing squaw Creek golf course you will definitely have fun
