Nice course, awesome layout and challenges. However there's a few details that could easily make this place a 4.5 star course. 1. Practice facilities. All they have is a driving range with beat up mats. No chipping or actually putting green. 2. Real sand in bunkers out on the course. No one like chipping out of muddy Galveston beach sand or fresh laid concrete. 3. Fast greens. If you have a 3 foot bad swing with your putter and you only hit it 21 feet up the hill that's an issue. Other than that, the lady in the pro shop was amazing. God bless her heart, very courteous. Don't get me started on the food the course has...I was very wrong for doubting clubhouse food in which most courses have terrible food. However this place had a salt grass chef in the back cause anything you ordered with steak was just mouth watering good.

I have been a member for just over a year. The facilities and staff were well worth my membership, but I am honestly happy to say that over this past year the course has improved tremendously and the facilities are being expanded with a future chipping range. The "19th Hole" which is 3 B's on The Green has a great atmosphere, food and drink with with an exceptional staff as well. I am very pleased and look forward to a continued membership with great play and enjoyment.

My son and I went and we both rented clubs. Clubs were dented with very old grips. Paid $40 and to be honest the sets wasn't worth buying for that. Course layout was okay but in bad shape. The best part of this experience was the restaurant. Food was fantastic as was the service. I would go back to eat but will never golf there again. This place has so much potential but it needs lots of love and care.

I never take the time to leave a review. But, here ya go... The most absolute worst golfing experience. The lady in the pro shop is extremely unprofessional and just plain rude. We ended up meeting the marshal that has already been mentioned in plenty of previous reviews. He will literally bully you. Follow you around the course and stalk you. I talked with the bar staff and they all agreed with me how terrible he treats the golfers. I tried saying something to the pro shop lady and she couldn't even look me in the eyes when speaking to me. I respect every course I play at and would never disrespect the greens and or staff. Will never return. Hopefully this helps someone save their money and go to one of the many other great courses Houston has to offer.

I’ve played on this course many times. It’s a decent course that needs some work, but the staff are great. Special shoutout to Mika in the Proshop for helping me during my time there. Understandable, efficient, polite and great customer service.
