It was my first time playing here this weekend. The weather was very awesome, a bit windy, but Did not affect play to a great extent. The golf shop staff was extremely polite and courteous. I played the La Quinta 18 as there are 2 full courses here. Unexpectedly the building that the golf shop was in was massive. It has a full restaurant and many other amenities. It appeared to be a city center building. I practiced at the range - 7$. It was very narrow, and too crowded meaning the spacing between each golfer was too close. I felt very uncomfortable. Also the mats were very hard to hit off of definitely needs new surfaces here. The course condition was very good. Cart path only today because of rain the day before. I must say that the tee boxes, fairways and greens were in decent shape. There were a few greens that need attention, but it was minor. The course was challenging and had a nice layout. Overall a great experience at a great price.

I've driven past this place so many times but was finally able to book a tee time! While the main facilities are currently being renovated I had no problem finding the pro shop. Upon arriving in the pro shop I was welcomed warmly and given a few tips for the course. I ended up getting paired with a group who lived in the community and they showed me around the course! My only regret was that I played better. Such a beautiful course and challenging layout without having greens so fast that only a pro could putt on them.

The city did a good job in returning the club and restaurant to a very nice level. Unfortunately, the Par 3 and the Executive 9 were left in grassland status. No swimming pools and there were two. The La Quinta course redo has taken significantly longer in comparison to those at Riverbed and Sugar Creek. All n' all it is a vast improvement from the declining years, yet, nowhere near its glory days. In short, its a very good place to go if you are not a member of a CC, do not want to swim or play more than one course.

Great course. Unfortunately didn’t have time enough daylight to complete the 18 but what we did play was amazing. Course is well kept, interesting sand and water hazards make the course perfectly challenging. Definitely recommend playing a round here and we plan on returning.

Andres works at the Quail Valley Country Club, he has been giving my daughter golf lessons and I can say he has not only instilled the skills she is to practice on but the passion to the game of golf. My daughter has been casually golfing with her since since the age of 4, now with continued lessons it has brought a spark and joy I can't explain. He understands the sport and the passion it takes to continue lessons with her and it has only made her look forward to the days she gets to go and show him her skills they've been working on. Keep doing the great job you are doing Andres! And I will continue to support any endeavors, because I know you do it honestly and with the bigger picture in mind. College scholarships knowledge and ingraining as the motivation to go further in life with joy in golfing!
