Got the chance to play both the East and West courses. Absolutely amazing! East was amazing as we walked it with caddies, and it was one of my favorite rounds of all time. Josh was an AMAZING caddie, which simply added to the experience. Be sure to request him! It was a hard but fair layout. Greens, you do need the caddies. They roll true, but there are breaks you simply don't see! They were firm due to it being a newer course. West course was awesome as well. We rode carts for that side, though. Granted, it was CPO for the even numbered holes, so maybe we should have walked it. We're sure to play here again as it was an amazing experience, golf, to the staff, to the food! You gotta try out Fields Ranch!

What a trip we just had here at Fields Ranch. Four guys from Boston taking a golf trip each year and this didn’t disappoint. We stayed in a ranch villa right on next to the biggest putting green I’ve ever seen in my life. All of us have kids and this family atmosphere even on a boys golf trip was awesome and makes us want to go back with our families. The concierge (Omar) was amazing filling our fridge with whatever we needed, helped book us dinner reservations in town, and even coordinated moving our Sunday tee time an hour up so we didn’t have to rush to the airport Sunday. As for the golf yeah it’s expensive but that’s what comes with golfing on a property like this. We played east course once (I hate walking so dont suggest anyone playing this one unless you do) and I just felt bad for the caddies having to carry two bags each. The caddies were fun and great and made playing more enjoyable (Arik and Christophe). The west course once we got in golf carts turned the golf all around. Great course and plenty of food and drink options. I honestly love when a course nails the amenities like food and drink it makes the golf 10x better. The staff was beyond nice at every encounter. Let’s not forget for fun they have a night time par 3 course which was super fun even for four guys surrounded by families. The kicker to make the trip next level was the pool, the food was very good! If anyone goes just get the smash burger by the pool you’ll be good for the entire day.

I played the East course and stayed one night each in the resort rooms and the golf villas. The lodging at both facilities was absolutely top notch. Excellent, modern design, well equipped, and well situated. Room service was prompt. Every single staff member I encountered, from the front desk, to waiters and waitresses, to the dedicated staff at the villas was exceptional. All had a great service attitude, were engaging and knowledgeable. Also all of the food I had was very good. The golf, however, left a bit to be desired, in my view. As a bit of background, I golf a lot, about 100 rounds a year, and am lucky enough to play most of my golf at private clubs. I am a single digit index. So I have seen a course or two. That said, the practice facilities at Fields Ranch are exceptional. You could spend all day there. The design and condition of East course was not what I was hoping for. The front nine has many meandering “natural areas” that criss-cross the course. Playing it for the first time with a caddie that was a non-golfer (super sweet guy with a great attitude but not a good caddie) made it very difficult to navigate. I thought the fairways were in “ok” shape - certainly not great and certainly not up to the standard of most of the area’s nicer private clubs, despite what other reviewers have shared. The greens were in very good condition, albeit firm, as you would expect from a young course. The back nine I thought was laid out better and a bit more “what you see is what you get”. It was certainly more playable. In summary, the overall facility is ambitious, well executed, and very enjoyable. But in my view the caddie quality could be upgraded and the East course, especially the front, could benefit from some trimming and better management of the natural areas. If you are coming for the overall experience, dining and drinking and outing or buddy golf, I think you will love it. If you are coming to play a world class golf course, at least in its current state, I think you will be disappointed.

Stayed at the hotel for a few nights in late April 2025 for my birthday thanks to my wife. Played the west course so we could take a cart. Tee time was around 10ish. Walk to the golf shop, introduce ourselves, pay our $600+ for the 2 of us. They call for my clubs from the shop, and told us to head down and staff will have everything ready. We go down and we’re waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting for my clubs and a rental set for my wife. Nobody can find my clubs. Around 45 mins go by and they finally find my clubs. However, no ladies rental set. Another 20 mins or so go by and finally a rental set. So we head to the first tee and told the starter what happened. He goes well, why don’t you come back at noon, because that’s where I have a spot open. Uh okay? Off to the driving range, waste time until noon, then head back to the starter and finally off on the course. We had to rush and not play the last hole as we had dinner reservations. Will never go back.
