Negative experience encountered at this course over the weekend. Due to our residence being in a neighboring county & our immediately area not being the home of a decent golf course, my family has been visiting here to try and get a pulse on if this is where we want to place our membership. Being that we have 3 future junior golfers, youth programs are important piece of the puzzle for us. We were greeted (rather - - approached) by a less than inviting starter marshall who very aggressively insisted we join with another group for our round. The combination of players & difference in handicap was vastly different & we respectfully asked not to join. This older gentleman continued to pressure us - when we suggested we’d be better off leaving and visiting another time, he chose to allow us to play as a pair as we had intended. The greens and fairways were mostly in good shape with the exception of a few but some of the tee boxes were in poor shape. After the front 9 was complete, we ran into the club shop to grab essentials. My partner overheard a female employee talking very disrespectful and unkind to a group of young junior golfers. This concerned us due to our own interest in our children wanting to join the junior program here. Once we finished the round, I went inside again to use the restroom. I heard the female employee talking negatively about these junior golfers again to another employee who was trying to explain the kids were only trying to get a few holes of golf in. After this experience, we have gone back to the drawing board in our golf membership search. Between the rude starter staff member at hole 1 (we didn’t get his name but he had a thick northern accent) and the female employee unnecessarily ridiculing the junior golfers in the presence of other customers, we think it will be worth our time & sanity to drive a little further to invest into a business where our family can feel respected, welcomed & appreciated.

Its been many years since I have played here. I love the idea that the course is pretty open. So you can let it loose on alot of the holes. Played in early September. The course condition, I was a little surprised. That time of the year should be the best for all courses. The price for the conditions was a little Higher than I would pay if it is not in better shape. A fun course but call and check the price and conditon.

Willowbrook was a most pleasant surprise. The greens are in superb condition, especially for late summer, and the course overall is very well-maintained. The layout is challenging but fair, which adds to the enjoyability for less-then-stellar golfers like me. The staff was very friendly and most helpful.

Can someone please get rid of Ken. He screams at people on the course, demands you play in foursomes, and acts like a drill sergeant. He is a terrible look for the course. I’m not the only one that feels this way. Many of my friends agree. If WillowBrook wants to keep me and my friends as customers they are going to have to get rid of this man. For the love of God can someone fire Ken!

Well maintained, beautiful course with friendly staff, free range balls and reasonably priced. I love all the willow trees, especially this time of year.
