If I could give zero stars, I would. From start to finish this was one of the most unprofessional and frustrating golf course experiences I’ve ever had.
First, Bruce insisted on taking all of my credit card information up front, warning me I’d be charged the full amount if I didn’t show up for my tee time. Only after collecting my card did he mention that their greens were “sick” and not in good condition. Not exactly the kind of disclosure you want after handing over payment details.
When I arrived and tried to use my rain check (from a day the course closed due to rain), Braxton acted like he’d never seen one before—even though my partner had used the exact same type of rain check just moments earlier. I clearly explained I needed an 18-hole round for one person, using my rain check. Instead, Braxton charged me $49, while my partner was charged $25 for the same thing.
When I asked for clarification, Braxton got defensive and tried to hand me another rain check instead of fixing the mistake. I told him I wanted a refund, not another useless slip of paper, and he told me I’d have to wait for his manager. Stated his manger would be in within an hour. I came back at the turn, and he told me again, his manager would be in within an hour. After golfing, I finally got a chance to speak with the elusive manager manager, Steven, who essentially accused us of trying to “double dip” rain checks—completely untrue, as my partner confirmed in front of him that Braxton took his rain check, and Steven STILL didn’t go over there and look for, but insisted we were trying to. Steven still tried to dodge responsibility until finally issuing a refund for the amount I was charged after trying to give me ANOTHER rain check.
This is the same Steven who, on the original rain-out day, told a group ahead of us that no rain checks would be given out because they “chose to golf on a rainy day” which almost caused an entire riot in the Pro-shop as there was about 20 people that heard him speak that way to the group—even though hole 10 was literally underwater, and the course shut down shortly after.
For a place charging around $65-70 PER PERSON a round and $49 for greens that look like a preschool sandbox, the staff here are argumentative, unprofessional, and disorganized. Between the shady credit card practices, inconsistent pricing, refusal to honor their own rain checks, and a manager who would rather argue than resolve issues, this course is an absolute dumpster fire. Save your time, money, and patience—there are plenty of courses that respect their customers. Don’t waste your hard earned money here, go to an actually real course where it’s ran by professionals not this playground.
