⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you watched me swing a 6-iron, you’d probably think I have no business writing a golf review. One of my old friends once told me (after a round at TPC Scottsdale) that I should put my clubs in the garage and never touch them again. Thankfully, I didn’t take his advice—otherwise, I would’ve missed out on this absolute gem in South Dakota. I teed off first thing at 8 AM on a Wednesday, first off the tee with no one behind me, and it was about as perfect as a round could get. Booking was easy (just two days in advance), and the lady at check-in was incredibly helpful and friendly. She even said I’d probably want to play the nine holes twice—and she wasn’t wrong. The course itself was in impeccable condition. The greens were rolling beautifully, and even the greenskeeper stopped by to check on me ahead of their Calcutta tournament that Friday. Nine holes were only $20, making this one of the best values I’ve found while traveling the country full-time in my RV. I’ve played $100 courses that didn’t look this good. To top it off, by the time I wrapped up, the restaurant had just opened. The bartender suggested the buffalo chicken sandwich with bacon—worth every bite, and affordably priced. Bottom line: friendly staff, pristine greens, great food, and an unbeatable price. Whether you’re local or just within driving distance, do yourself a favor and stop here. Even if your swing looks like mine, you’ll have a blast.

Nice 9-hole course. Get restaurant in the club house. Best it's been in 15 years. Owners are very friendly. Good selection of food.

We love this Golf course. Very family friendly, has a good amount of challenge, and VERY well cared for. The greens staff and folks that attended to the maintenance do a bang up job! We had alot of challenges with flooding and rain fall this year. It was so awesome to see the course was maintained exceptionally well throughout the entire process! Keep up the good work Russ and Staff. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication!

The lakes has always been one of me favorite restaurants and bars in the area. The only thing I can complain about is... when it gets super busy, it would be great to see a hostess or manager/owner to seat people and direct traffic. There pizza, the smothered chislic, walleye, and Prime Rib were all amazing. Sorry, I guess I should have just said everything... grin.

Love the course but why are there no online reservations? This has caused me to golf elsewhere twice this year.
