Description

North Hills is a traditional Philadelphia-area private club with a classic parkland layout and a refined member experience. The course typically rewards accuracy and smart angles—positioning off the tee matters because approaches become far more manageable when you’ve earned the right line. Greens and bunkering provide meaningful defense, so distance control and short game are critical to scoring. The atmosphere is polished and established, supporting both competitive member golf and a strong social cadence. Overall, it’s a refined SEPA private test: strategic, repeatable, and rooted in classic club golf.

I have enjoyed living in this community for almost 4 years. The management, with people like Lynn and Donald, have been very proactive with any concerns! The maintenance team with Jason and Matt always respond in a timely manner to any issues! I love my apartment. I know that something’s aren’t perfect, but this is a great place to live!

I read these reviews before renting and figured whatever, you only really see the extremes with reviews, so I’ll be fine; I’m pretty easygoing! Well, now I’m writing a review. And honestly until this month, I enjoyed living here. Sure, I’ve had to have several things fixed. Sometimes maintenance would come in without notifying me. Don’t love that, but I also don’t care much. Maintenance people have all been super nice through all my apartment’s flooding and leaking and various problems. But this month, we were surprised (alerted a week or two beforehand) with a major, building-wide plumbing project that takes place Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. All month long. During those days/hours, water is shut off. You cannot use your bathroom. Heat is also shut off. For context, today it felt like -14° with windchill. Tomorrow, it’ll be even colder. My apartment got down to 50° today while work was being done. The plumbing team also doesn’t enter your apartment unit every single day (they might have water off while working in others), but you only get to know if they need to enter at 4pm the day prior. Also, pets cannot be left home unattended during this time, so good luck if you work—better board them or figure it out! Also, you must remove all your furniture and personal belongings from several places in the apartment, including fully clearing out your bathroom, rules for the kitchen, laundry room, and bedroom. As a result, it’s nearly impossible to live here during the week. Don’t even think about working from home if your job requires it. Every day when you get home, the whole place is covered in drywall dust. There are gaping holes in the walls and ceilings of every room. And really, all of this *would* be fine, if management would simply acknowledge the major inconvenience the project is causing and do a single thing to indicate they care at all about residents’ quality of living or alleviate the chaos. This could look like giving actual advance notice about when contractors are entering (more than one day), or even taking a bit off the month’s rent (which is high to begin with, and I couldn’t even live here last week due to the project), or offering space heaters for us to use on days when the heat is shut off, etc. But no. I sent a detailed email today explaining these frustrations and asking for any of the things I just mentioned, and within minutes the reply I got was (and I quote): “We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. You should be so much happier when the project for your building is complete. We thank you for your patience throughout this project. Please stay safe and warm!” I don’t even know who wrote it. They didn’t bother to sign it. Telling me I’ll be happy when it’s over and to stay warm after I just explained that with the heat off each day during a freezing cold advisory, the apartment is frigid, is just awesome. Thank you! I should’ve thought about just staying warm and becoming happier. So so great. So anyway, this place is a business through and through. I don’t really feel like I’m viewed as human person living here at all. Probably should’ve expected as much based on other reviews, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Don’t do the same.

The apartments are not up to what they claim. The gym never has cleaning spray. I had a potential theft and the office did not look into it to the extent they should have. It's a great location. Maintenance people are good. That's about the best I can say,

Shout out to Lynn, Brandy and Donald in the office for helping me settle into my cozy place, that I call home. They have all been attentive, encouraging, and happy to help! Maintenance personnel have also been on their game, and awesome to deal with! Much appreciation for the overall club community and experience!

There is no star (0 star) to give for this apartment and maintenance. We had very bad experience in the move in itself. Be ready to clean the apartment your self. We can see problems everywhere in the apartment doors doesn't work properly, windows are not proper. Even after talking to lease office they will just ask what can we do... not talking about the solution and issues supposed to be fixed before move in not after the move in. I don't find this is the perfect place to live in. Adding some pictures as we are not getting positive issue resolution even after 2 weeks. Some pictures shows how clean we got the home. Some of the picture indicates thats rats died with traps as there are unfinished walls in the locker area and it became rats house. The response we get from the management they can't assure when they will come and remove the died rats. Since no one has showed up we had to clean ourself. Really frustrated within 15 days our journey with this apartment don't know how to stay here next 11 months 15 days lease.
