We love this place, and come here often, highly recommend

Just wow! We were blown away by this place! The history, the beautiful location, the luxury, the amazing service, the wealth of activities, the fine restaurants, and just the overall ambience of this place is awesome. We absolutely loved every minute of the two days and two nights we spent here. While the room itself may have not been that grand, the history surrounding everything, especially the fact that so many presidents slept here was pretty cool. And just the grand architecture and beautiful grounds made it enjoyable just to wander around in our free time. There are also passed through the woods where you can go check out the springs that early visitors came to soak in. we wished we had brought our swimwear along, as the pool room was stunning! I also enjoyed a session of axe throwing and primitive archery, while my wife enjoyed some time at the spa. We are usually more budget-focused travelers, but were here as part of an industry event; it’s definitely not something we could afford going to on our own very much! One downfall was that the old building makes it somewhat inconvenient for wheelchairs, but the staff was very helpful and accommodating, and made it work.
