Description

The Meadows Course at Sunriver Resort is a scenic, flowing layout with Deschutes River views and classic resort-style play. Designed by John Fought, it's player-friendly but with strategic elements like water and bunkers to challenge better players. A beautiful complement to the resort's more rugged layouts.

Sunriver resort has the best customer service around! We booked a condo on the premises of sunrise River resort, not knowing that they are independently owned. The condo was less than livable. Jen and Ben were so accommodating and so helpful. They arranged another room for us at the actual resort/hotel and helped us to get some money back from our prior reservation of the condo. I would highly recommend this resort as our room at the resort hotel was gorgeous! Carson was also extremely helpful as well! Not knowing his shift had just ended, he shuttled me to the local store and back. You will not be disappointed at the Sunriver resort hotel!

Spectacular resort, amazing pool, beautiful grounds, a variety of room types to accommodate all sizes of families. The deer are roaming the property making the experience even more special. The on-site restaurants are delicious and there’s a general store and coffee shop within walking distance. The meeting space, if you’re looking at this from a business perspective, is spread out, but I think it’s worth what’s some might call an inconvenience, to be on such a beautiful property. They do offer 24 hour shuttle and golf carts upon request to help people get around. There are bike rentals, bike paths, and a stable for trail rides. They offer pony rides for children. You’re really lacking for nothing on this properly property. I have been here a couple times for business events, as the event coordinator for our company, and the property staff are all excellent. Whether you’re looking at this property for personal vacation or for a business destination, I highly recommend Sunriver Resort.

Close to 5 stars, but I have to take off a star for their cancellation policy (which always makes me hesitant to reserve a room especially during winter). Also, beware when they say the views may differ on their website when booking, they mean it. Not a huge deal as Sunriver is pretty everywhere. We loved the fireplace in the room (above ave). Shower is ok - really could be a titch hotter but temp was stable at least. The room with a king was small but nicely designed. There's no table (there is a desk with an uncomfortable chair). TV was big with good channels. The Cove is fun. The Cove is the main reason I'd recommend Sunriver for families if they can swing it. Really nice lady at The Cove front desk on 11/13/24. Bed is very comfortable which is very important to us. Dog charge is hefty at $75/night but at least they allow them. Gift shop was good but spendy. Cashier ladies were nice. Resort sent texts daily to make sure all was going smoothly. Check in & out was easy. There's a young man who will run across the lobby to open the door for you which was nice. My spouse found the yoga meditation class to be super relaxing. The rockers on the patio were comfortable. Everywhere looked very clean. Heater worked very well. Never used the shuttle but may in the future. Area felt safe & was quiet. The app worked well. Reserve activities weeks before arrival as the classes fill up fast. Great music, appetizers, & drinks at The Owls Nest. The Lake House grounds are beautiful but the food needs improvement. The service was great though. Overall, I would recommend as the staff were very nice, they allow dogs, & the paths are wonderful.

We requested an ADA accessible room but did not receive one. The request and reservation was confirmed multiple times. Even after we were moved from our original room (they put us upstairs), the one they replaced it with was also not ADA accessible. The room we ended up in was clean but it was difficult for our disabled family member to move around or safely use the bathroom. It also had stairs to get to the front door. The outside lighting is poor and the signage is difficult to read so make sure you arrive during daylight hours. We did not use the pool, hot tubs, etc. due to the disabled family member. We also did not use the main lodge (stairs to get in-did not see a ramp) or the restaurant (due to the high cost of the food). The walking path is paved and is nice as it winds around the property amongst the trees and the golf course. Sunriver Resort is listed as a 4-star resort but I believe that is a bit of a stretch. The rooms, and the the few employees we had direct contact with, were what you would see in a 2 or 3 start location. Bend is a great area to visit with lots of outdoor activities, wonderful restaurants to dine in, and great scenery! We are not likely to return to the Sunriver Resort due to the lack of ADA compliance. We received an email apology but that does not make-up for the problems in what should have been a special trip to celebrate a 90th birthday and Veteran's Day for our elderly disabled family member.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sunriver Resort for a conference in early October. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Lots of deer roaming around. I was in L228. It was on the ground floor with parking directly in front, but you did need to go up four steps. Something to be aware of if booking the first floor for accessibility. An easy fix would be to replace those steps with a ramp. The two bed room was cozy with a lovely patio overlooking the golf course. Beds were super comfy. The fireplace was an awesome touch. But the closet and desk were a tight squeeze. The service was first class. The shuttles were convenient and can pick you up in front of your room and bring you anywhere on the property. It was a wonderful experience at Sunriver Resort.
