My first time ever going golf I’d highly recommend this place! A friend and I played the back 9 on the green side! Best experience ever!!! Thank you guys for making it such a great first time! Will definitely be back for range time and other golf activities! Best sandwich I’ve ever eaten too!

I love Great Blue. Played in mid January. Given the time of year and how much rain we've had the course was in really good shape, especially the greens. But I have to ding them for the bunkers. Its time to order some sand. But all in all Kudos to the team at Heron Lakes.

I swear Great Blue could be one of the best courses in the region if it got a little more funding from the city to keep it in shape. Great golf course regardless. The layout is soooo good.

This is one of my favorite golf courses in the area. Best value during peak season, really nice staff, delicious food and beer too. It’s always a great day on the course out here.

Me and my three friends are pretty new to golf and it was my birthday so we decided to give this course a try. We got there and front desk showed us where to go. We got the the first tee and teed off and then after going to our balls, we got hit with a course ranger saying we were holding up other people or playing too slow?we then had to play way faster which was horrible cause we have only been playing for about 5 months. The rest of the course we were unbothered and ended up being kind of fun, but the first couple holes after the cart ranger bugged us and was being rude ruined the whole morning. Kind of disappointing for the level of friendliness in other peoples reviews. I only suggest this course if you are somewhat good and can move through the holes fast. overall it was an okay course but i don't think I would go back.
