I'm slow on this review. 8 of us were there in August 2025. Everything was amazing, as long as you worry about the cost when you get home. Bucket list course, so that's the only way to do it. My recommendations: Stay: Round Lake cabins were fantastic and they managed to get our 4 rooms side by side which was great. Request a ground floor room then your crew can hang out on the grass between rounds. Play: Play shorty's in the evening (2nd round of the day), with your entire group at once (played as an 8-some) and barefoot! Such a vibe! Eat: Get the Pastrami at Sheep's Ranch for lunch. Remember: Bring Chap Stick, my lips took a kicking from the wind.

The golfing here is truly spectacular. Memories for a lifetime were created. We golfed 8 and half rounds in 4 days and never left the property. Everything about it was exceptional. Food was great, shuttles were prompt, all employees were helpful and kind, if I had to search for a complaint, it would only be the cost of the caddies can add up and they (like us) are not perfect and gave a few misreads. That said, we walked 55 miles in 4 days, and they did it carrying our clubs. Whatever your wait is, be patient and know, this is a moment for a lifetime.

Absolutely the best golf resort I've ever been to and I've been to alot. Food is phenomenal, service is excellent, caddies were great (request Craig, Q, or Mark). Only piece of advise - be prepared to walk. Worth every step but it's a lot of walking.

Absolutely lives up to the hype! Our group had a great time at Bandon Dunes and got to experience all of the courses. It’s tough to pick a favorite but I shot my round on the original so I guess I’ll go with that one. I just hope I have the opportunity to come back before too long!

I lucked out and called late April after seeing a friend post 5 photos of his trip. I have this hunch to just call the reservation number and sure as hell, they had a single King Bed room two weeks from this time of the phone call. Next call I made was to my Dad, we live 2000 miles and two time zones apart, but when I said the words “book a flight, we’re going to Bandon, in two weeks.” I had never seen that reaction from him on a zoom call. There was no, I can’t make it, he confirmed a flight within the hour. For me, the 16hr drive over two days, through three states: MT, ID, OR, started what would become a solo 12 day road trip up to Gearhart, Highlands, Chambers, few nights in Seattle, mountain biking in Bellingham, driving over the cascades to Gamble Sands and back through Montana. Epic trip and would never have happened without the warm welcoming staff that took a pipe dream and gave my Dad and I a trip we often reflect back on. 36-36-18 & the OG Shorty’s on the range, a consolation for choosing to not start the trip with drenched rain gear at Old Mac. Need to get back for round 2. But will always be a life highlight!
