One of Oklahoma's earliest Maxwell designs, Perry Golf & Country Club blends classic shaping with small, characterful greens. The routing uses gentle rises to create deceptive approach angles and tricky stances without ever feeling punitive. Tight mowing lines and short grass runoffs ask for creativity bump and runs often trump flop shots. Despite its modest yardage, scoring requires discipline off the tee to avoid blocked approaches. It's an intimate, old world experience that plays fast and rewards imagination.

Really fun Perry Maxwell course. Currently ranked #2 in Oklahoma by Golf Digest for 9-hole courses behind Southern Hills Country Club's short course. It is a country club, so you should call before going if you aren't a member. They do allow outside play most of the time!

We were visiting from out of state, the guy in the club house was very snobbish and said they had shut out the public since Covid but it has let up some but still no visitors, so much for Oklahoma hospitality. I believe with the two other vehicles in the parking lot, we would not have bothered anyone to play nine holes.
