Description

The Links at Norman is part of the Lindsay golf community network, offering an 18 hole layout alongside apartments and amenities. The course is modern, with wide fairways, playable rough, and medium sized greens that make it accessible to all. At just over 6,400 yards, it isn't long but provides variety with doglegs and water hazards. Its integration with residential development creates a resort like environment. It's especially popular with beginners, families, and those seeking affordable membership options.

Do Not Recommend – Looks Nice on Paper, But Not in Reality I’ve lived at The Links and Greens at Norman for about 2 yrs. The pool was broken for nearly the entire year, and when it finally opened, the water was visibly cloudy and full of bacteria — it was honestly disgusting. There’s supposedly a “one resident, one guest” rule, but it’s never enforced. People stroll in with 4 kids and their friends. The gym is outdated and neglected — most of the treadmills don’t even turn on, and the equipment is old. The carpet in the apartments is old and worn, for $1,200/mo is just not okay. Every year, rent goes up, yet nothing ever improves. It’s very obvious this complex is money-driven and tenants are not a priority. Don’t be fooled by the golf course views once you move in, you’ll quickly realize how little value you’re getting for what you pay.

Best complex in Norman, I wish I hadn’t moved sometimes but I wanted a fenced yard. 24-48 hour maintenance response, only place I’ve seen that offers regular and easy pest control (spiders were our only issue, but it’s expected on a golf course! comes with the land), adored all the wildlife, always quiet, great location with the walmart. Interior was a touch dated. Lived there for two years and they replaced the carpets after many tenants, not sure if it was every tenant or only those with pets but I loved that they do that. Be mindful that they continue your lease unless you give them something like a 2 months notice, I’ve heard that can be difficult to get out of but read your lease and set a calendar appointment like you should be with any annual subscription and you’re golden. They also did regular exterior washing and painting, which has not been my experience elsewhere. They really do care for and take care of the property.

I TRIED to get a month to month rent, since I knew I was going to be moving soon. They refused! So when I lost my job, I just moved out early. They didn't like it, but I didn't care! They wouldn't work with me, so I left them a mess to clean up, even though they gave me a bad credit rating. It was well worth it! If I could give them a worse rating I would, all because of the manager unwillingness to work with anyone! Good ridens!

BEDBUGS. management refuses to fix the problem. I have been begging for my whole building to be treated as we have been dealing with this issue since we moved in Febuary, management will treat our unit the bugs move next door and the cycle continues. Ive been told 12,000 dollars is too expensive to treat the whole building despite there being ten units in total, paying roughly 1000$ a month in rent. i do not see how those numbers add up personally. my neighbor informed me they have had bedbug issues dating back to five years ago, despite Jennifer in management telling me that the building had no prior history of pest issues. After being told they refuse to treat the whole building, i wrote a letter to my neighbors informing them of the issues we are having, hoping if anyone else was having the same problems management may take it more seriously if there are multiple requests. Jennifer responded to this by calling us, telling us we personally "maimed" her character, and threatening to not renew our lease, which would be retaliation legally. Long story short, do not move here, cheap rent is not worth fighting with management to fix your bedbug infestation. *UPDATE* after calling and requesting jennifers treatment plan be put in writing, as well as inquiring about her threatening our lease renewal due to informing our neighbors of our struggles, she screamed at me and told me it "wasnt going to happen" because she run things here and i dont. do not waste your money on these apartments

I would like to reassure anyone that is thinking of leasing from the Links and Greens of a few things. They have been exceptional in every way. The negative feedback is from people who don't seem to understand the normal operations of a business. I've lived at other complexes in Norman. You will not find a better more affordable place to live in Norman. Period. Thanks so much Michael D Uhack
