Do Not Recommend – Looks Nice on Paper, But Not in Reality I’ve lived at The Links and Greens at Norman for about 2 yrs. The pool was broken for nearly the entire year, and when it finally opened, the water was visibly cloudy and full of bacteria — it was honestly disgusting. Also agree with the guy about smokers being welcome-can confirm. Cigarette butts and smoke make it to my door and management doesn’t do anything about it. The gym is outdated and neglected — most of the treadmills don’t even turn on, and the equipment is old. The carpet in the apartments is old and worn, for $1,200/mo is just not okay. Every year, rent goes up, yet nothing ever improves. It’s very obvious this complex is money-driven and tenants are not a priority. Don’t be fooled by the golf course views once you move in, you’ll quickly realize how little value you’re getting for what you pay.

We lived in two different apartments over 5 years with the Links. The living experience was fine, the maintenance teams responded quickly to our issues, and we enjoyed the amenities. When we moved out of our apartment in April, we reported some damage left by our cat. We knew our deposit would go towards the repairs and there would most likely be additional charges. Instead of contacting us directly, the Links passed the outstanding balance to a collection agency with no additional notice. Do not expect clear or consistent communication from the office staff if you live here.

The process of simply trying to lease has been a nightmare!! I put down my application and deposited a month ago and was told I placed it early enough to be placed in a by August I visited 3 other time to get information and updates on my moving and even said I’d be willing to pay more for another location to be able to move in sooner and in those 3 visit I was still told that I would be set for August I went up there last week because I still haven’t gotten any information about moving or any updates only to be told that they already placed all the residents for August 5 and I was not likely to receive housing until possibly September or October. I asked him to return my deposit, and now I am being held up with the deposit and unable to put money down for another place to live until I receive that deposit and nobody is telling me anything

Smokers are super welcome, if you smoke in the apartment and it flows into the other they don’t care. Treat you as if everyone enjoys smoke filled apartments, as a renter be ready. They offer air cleaners to place in the apt but then tell you it’s not their problem. Good luck if you have asthma. Average air quality 72% most evenings.

We had HORRIBLE bed bugs, they never treated the entire building so the bugs just moved unit to unit. Ended up moving out how bad it got and then had to continue to pay our lease there and somewhere else because they wouldn’t make it right. Stay away!
