We were there for a catered event. Preparing meals for large groups can be daunting for many places. However Pheasant Run did surprisingly well. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Good food. Wait staff needs some work. We arrived and it wasn't very busy. Its very casual so you seat yourself. The furnishings are nice. Took a long time for wait staff to acknowledge us. Took even longer for her to come to us to take our order. We had steaks and burgers. The steaks were delish and perfectly seasoned. Cooked to order. Loved the green beans, fried pickles and small potatoes. The only downside of our visit was the waitress. She was more concerned about visiting than doing her job. I would have rated this place higher if it had not been for her lackluster job.

In the pro shop, they wanted to charge 20 dollars to walk 9 holes. They would not honor their website.

Golfing with a 10 hcp buddy and even he said this was his worst experience ever. We were aggressively approached by another group for being off the cart path within 40 yards of the greens, so we called the clubhouse and were told the standard 20-25 yards. 2 holes later, the clubhouse superintendent told us off for the same thing, and when we explained that it was our first time here and we had called to ask about the cart rules (which were not told to us when we checked in) he said “I don’t care, it stops with me.” Rude staff and club members is one thing, but inconsistent and rude staff is completely unprofessional. The lack of professionalism and accountability for damaging my vehicle while working across the street on private property is unbelievable. Spoke to the owner who stated they're not liable but if I know who did it I could go about it that way. I'm out of my insurance deductible of $500.00. Beware if you visit Garland Road Nursing Home.. golf balls flying into cars and almost hit people all the time and remember they claim they're NOT liable for damages or injury. Where are the posted signs stating this information?
