Description

Cedar Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow is a classic private club with a championship pedigree. The Joe Finger design, later refined by Tripp Davis, integrates creeks, bunkers, and rolling terrain to create a challenging yet beautiful course. Known for its manicured greens and elite practice facilities, including a TrackMan learning center, it is a hub for serious players. The par-71 layout stretches over 7,200 yards and has hosted professional events, cementing its place among Oklahoma's finest clubs. It balances traditional club culture with modern amenities.

We've been members at Cedar Ridge Country Club for over 30 years, and unfortunately in the past few years we've experienced a precipitous decline in management, food quality and service. The staff has been "upgraded" to less experienced personnel, and as can be seen by the first photograph attached, much less responsible. The cup appearing in the photograph was on the receptionist desk at the club entrance and was first noticed by one of our granddaughters. Obviously, something such as this should not be found anywhere in the club, not to mention on the receptionist desk. The second photograph shows how lemons were delivered to our table for our water, on the plastic lid of a "to go" cup. When wanting to entertain our friends and family from both in town and out of town, we had to give up on Cedar Ridge. As mentioned we've been members for over 30 years, and as of August 31, 2025, we finally decided to cancel our membership and move to another venue. We can no longer recommend Cedar Ridge Country Club as they have forgotten everything about what the club once was.

I was an invited guest at the country club. My employer holds their annual Christmas party there every year. We could select from a limited menu and most of the time the food is delicious. Over the course of the last 7 years, minus 2020 Covid year we had a delightful time. You do have to be invited the country club is normally for members only. However they have had big name golf tournaments held there.

I haven't much experience with going to Country Clubs... so not much to base my opinion on really. However, I've been here a few for Christmas work parties. Free Valet. I think they need more handicap by the door...and the entry is NOT handicap friendly at all! I'm not even sure how people with wheelchairs or those not able to go up/down many sets of stairs would enter. But the decor is nice...very picture worthy. Staff is friendly. Food is good. That being said, last meal we had, I heard from several coworkers that some meats were overcooked and dry or veggies not cooked enough. Someone even got sick. Maybe not such a thick portion of porkchops and think about resting time before serving when cooking to avoid those issues. The crème brûlée..delicious...maybe a little more caramelization and some fruit to perfect it. I usually get the filet mignon because it's the only item I wouldn't buy and cook myself on a regular. But I think it needs the classic strip of bacon around it to make it better. I just think the costs are too high for the quality. I could make most of the items myself. They're not that special. What kind of food do you think about when you hear "Country Club"?? Overall I suppose it's a good place.

One of the best courses in the mid west! Course conditions wonderful every time playing with members. Staff always receptive to my non membership family. Shot some of my best rounds the last 5 years here!
