The HISTORY behind this course is the best reason to go and visit. To Play: The hills, the woods, and the water traps make it challenging and a mystery (where your ball landed) but very fun to play. I will definitely be back to try to beat my score and to see Renee Powell. Her dedication to her family legacy and customer service is admired and top notch.

This Historic Golf course should be on any real golfers bucket list. And if you live within an hour and golf then you definitely should hit it as much as possible. The history of this place, the man who built it and the families legacy in golf was incredible. MS Powell walked up through the museum and even caught me on the back nine and gave me a few pointers. This is the only Black, designed and owned golf course in the world! And I saved that for last because like I said if you call yourself a golfer, black, white or whatever this should be like Mecca to you. The course itself... beautiful! But so challenging I got so flustered I almost broke a club... I didn't..... I just threw my 7 iron a few times... lol. So go see my friend Ms Powell, buy some merchandise, get a history lesson then go hit em straight!

Renee Powell and staff were very friendly and very accommodating making our outing a most pleasant experience. A new clubhouse with a museum was being built. I look forward to returning once it is completed. The course is well kept.

My visit to Clearview golf course in summer of 2025, is a trip to remember, my experience was awesome and Dr. Renae Powell makes you feel so welcome, I will be back in summer 2026 ⛳️

A super nice course that is loaded with history! We golfed it as we were passing through town and are super glad we stopped!
