Chippewa Golf Club is absolutely top-notch — the course conditions were immaculate from tee to green. Every fairway was perfectly maintained, the greens rolled true, and you can tell the staff takes real pride in keeping the place in incredible shape. It’s easily one of the best-conditioned courses in Northeast Ohio. But what really made the day stand out was Danny, the starter. He’s hands down the friendliest, most welcoming, and most knowledgeable starter I’ve ever met. From the moment we checked in, Danny set the tone for a great round — helpful, upbeat, and genuinely passionate about the course and the game. You can tell he loves what he does, and it makes a huge difference. If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-run course with a staff that truly cares, Chippewa Golf Club is the place to play. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a group of 8 guys that travel in to play here. Super friendly staff, there was an over one hour delay on tee times due to heavy rains the night before. They handled it so well, even gave us free range balls. The course was fun, mostly open until you get to the back nine where there are some challenging uphill/downhill holes over water. We loved it. I also highly recommend that you rent one of the motorcycle golf carts. What a blast that was!

I’ve been wanting to play this course all year based on reviews, and finally did on what might be one of the last open days of the year based on the forecast into December. I’m very happy I did. Even on a foggy, cool and damp morning I really enjoyed the round. The pro shop was well stocked with a nice bar, and the attendant was friendly. The course itself is a nice fairly open layout with many holes having very large greens. The back 9 is the star, in particular holes 14,15 and 16 with the ponds. The condition of the course for late November was surprisingly good. My only complaint was that the greens were not rolled or at least did not seemed rolled. On a better weather day this golf club is probably a 6 star.

I drive an hour each way every time I play this course and I’m here well over a dozen times each season. My travel league likes to play here at the beginning and end of the season because they only have cart paths around the tees and greens, so can never tell you it’s “cart path only due to weather”. The course drains so well from the rolling hills that it stays in such beautiful shape year round. Holes 14,15,and 16 are about the hardest closing stretch in Ohio golf. Great food, great staff, and a pretty decent pro shop to boot. Go check out this gem called Chippewa!

Chippewa Golf Club is one of the best public golf courses in NE Ohio. They have outstanding greens that will test your game. The tee boxes are spread out to accommodate all levels of players. A variety of club transportation vehicles such has electric bikes, club car trolleys for those who like to walk and the nicest golf carts available at any public golf course. The snack bar can make you breakfast at very reasonable prices and the 19th hole and patio are very welcoming. I highly recommended this course!
