Something is going on here. It's not good either. The course is in disrepair. The cart paths are terrible, sand traps need work and a lot of areas need clean up. Tees, fairways and greens are good though.

6/18/2024- first time playing here. Heard it was a fun track with a unique layout. This is a tough one… I called early am for info on a 330p tee time for 2 for 18. We got there early, club house seems old fashion and rustic feel. Checked in with starter who asked if we were told about the leagues going off…we were not told. He seemed a bit annoyed by that, but either way he went back and forth deciding which side to let us off. We eventually went off the front, where the fairway mower was right in front of us…seemed a bit strange for that time of day. I would know, I work at a county club course mowing fairways. He did pull off as I waited on the box, I hit. He went right back on, then appeared to move my ball to mow his pass. Then we waited again for my playing partner to hit. Not a great start… first hole has a really cool layout. I enjoy this track, don’t get me wrong here…but a lot of attention to detail is lacking here. Possibly its lack of staff or $ to properly care for this course, because this place has incredible bones for a top course. Most bunkers are under repair, fairways were partially mowed? Maybe? Just random tools in the middle of the fairway on the back… but listen the worse part was making the turn and starter says you’ll go off behind this foursome…sure no problem. They were lounging and literally laying on the tee box. Play your game I guess, 3 rode in carts and one walked…I assume part of the league? It was horrible to attempt to play behind them…hitting multiple balls…no concern for pace of play….Hitting multiple putts on the green…took them 27.5 minutes to play one par 3. I just wanted to leave…we both did. I’m not sure we will return, unfortunate because we really enjoyed the layout. If you haven’t been, maybe go on a weekday or something, hit em straight.

I'm from Erie pa.i decided since our courses close at the beginning of November that I would go south and west to Ohio. We had a string of very warm weather for being November anyways I looked around and Yankee run kept coming up after reading reviews and seeing what the community did for this course when it was messed up by a tornado I decided to try this course to see what the hype was about. I'm really glad I did. They have a new customer for life. I have no problem driving 1.5 hours away to Yankee run a couple times a week. It says 6500 yards or something like that but this course felt like it was 7500 yards. It's absolutely beautiful and every single hole has a unique challenge. I promise you this this course you will not be disappointing. The course is kept in country club level shape. I can't wait till the new season starts hopefully I'm approved for a membership. This is a must play in Ohio. By the way 20 dollars for a cart and 18 holes during the fall you definitely can't beat that especially when you see how great this course is. Very special place and every single person was nice

I've been golfing here since I could swing a club. It's been almost 30 years and I still love to play this course. It's just long enough from the white tees to challenge you. The greens almost always putt true and have some tough breaks to read. Not alot of straight in, unless you place the ball well from the fairway. The greens are a nice size and very forgiving. I enjoy fixing a divot once in a while!! The fairways are mostly open with a few holes that you have to place your drive well to get a look in to the green. Some of the par 3s and 4s require distance as well, otherwise your putting for par. The electric carts are nice and clean. The staff is always friendly at the bar and the register. Really feel welcome when we show up. Overall this course is a great find at reasonable prices for the area. Check it ou!! You won't be sorry!!
