We had our OHSAA golf tournament at Heatherwood Golf Course and could not have been more impressed. The course was in excellent condition, offering a fair but challenging layout that made for an exciting competition. The staff and volunteers went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their hospitality stood out just as much as the course itself. And of course, meeting Stanley the resident goat was the highlight off the course. He might just be the best “groundskeeper” in Ohio. From start to finish, it was a first-class experience. Highly recommend Heatherwood to anyone looking for a beautiful course, great people, and a goat with personality.

A great facility and a great course. I have never played there when the course wasn't in beautiful shape. A lot of courses this year have suffered with fairways burning up but not there. At a fair price I might add. Wish I played there more.

Just played here yesterday for the first time. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The greens, tees, and fairways were in great shape and really well maintained. The cups were freshly cut with crisp edges painted white. Talking to the rangers before the round, we told them it was our first time out at this course and they were giving us tips on how to play some of the more difficult holes. They would check in periodically to see how the round was going and tell us more about the course. Overall we had an excellent experience and will definitely be back.

Beautiful course that is very well maintained. The staff are very nice and welcoming. My only frustration is with players not fixing ball marks on the greens or sand in fairway divots. I would fix 5-6 on each hole.

We had the most perfect wedding day, and we have the staff at Heatherwoode to thank. Staci is such a kind person who was incredibly attentive from the day we booked with them. She went out of her way for us so many times- including helping direct things at the rehearsal and adding in decorations we hadn't even thought of. She made sure we were both taken care of and comfortable on the wedding day, and was prompt with communication. Executive Chef Chris is incredible at what he does. Our wedding was over a month ago and we are STILL getting raving reviews on the food- the appetizers, sides, and entrees were delicious, beautifully plated, served fast and efficiently, and I should mention that we both had the best steak we ever had on our wedding day thanks to Chef Chris, Chef Sam, and the rest of the kitchen staff. The servers were attentive and also great at what they do. Ron and Scott, the bartenders, were an absolute hit at our wedding reception! They were so great with the guests, and even went out of their way to check on the groom and I many times throughout the night. I should also mention that our set-up was so beautiful and more than we imagined- Heatherwoode did it all for us and provides pretty much anything you could need- the ceremony chairs, decorative lamps, all the linens and tableware, and more. This made things so easy on us and it was a dream to be able to walk into our ceremony and reception rooms with everything set out exactly how we requested. I should also mention the appreciation we have for Heatherwoode's attentiveness to our guests who needed assistance moving around the venue. They were extremely accommodating with directing and helping our guests, and even pulled up golf carts to help transport guests downstairs (which we did not even know they could do). This kind of gesture is a great example of how Heatherwoode goes above and beyond in both the big and the little things. Overall, I think you can tell that we cannot recommend Heatherwoode enough for any event, and especially if you want the smoothest possible experience at your wedding!
