Very well taken care of course. All the staff were friendly, drinks and food available, golf carts were in good condition and working good. Overall, great place to golf.

Mike and Monica are wonderful. The course is the best I've played in a 30 mile radius. I will be playing this course as much as I possibly can.

I almost never write reviews, but after my experience at Pleasant View, I felt like I needed to say something. The course itself is okay — nothing special. It’s fairly plain, conditions were decent, but there’s nothing memorable about the layout or overall vibe. The real issue was the staff — especially the starter and what appeared to be the owner, both older men with white hair. They were extremely rude and condescending from the start. Rather than welcoming or helpful, they seemed more interested in nitpicking over tiny, insignificant things. It felt like they were looking for a reason to argue instead of letting people enjoy their round. There was zero sense of etiquette or professionalism, and it really soured the entire experience. I came hoping for a relaxing day of golf, and instead left frustrated and annoyed. Honestly, it’s not worth the drive. There are plenty of other courses where the staff respects players and knows how to treat guests. Save your time, your money, and your patience — and go somewhere else.

AVOID: Needs New Management and Serious Upkeep. My experience at Pleasant View Golf Course was profoundly disappointing and highlighted why this facility is in desperate need of new ownership. The problems here are twofold: the abysmal condition of the course and the unacceptable behavior of the management.The owner is consistently rude, grumpy, and creates an actively hostile environment. Not to mention the henchmen he hires running around the course they are a story for another time. Instead of focusing on customer service, the owner will frequently start screaming random, nonsensical things that confuse and irritate players. This type of volatile and unprofessional conduct is not something any paying customer should have to endure.Adding to the frustration is the terrible condition of the course itself. It's clear they must use subpar or run-down maintenance equipment, as the turf quality is appalling. The grass is easily worse than any other golf course around, making it difficult and unpleasant to play. This course simply does not meet basic standards for maintenance.Finally, even the equipment is faulty. The so-called "smart carts" do not work properly, constantly thinking you are somewhere you are not on the course, which disrupts your game and pulls focus from playing golf.Until this course receives a significant overhaul in both management and groundskeeping, I strongly advise golfers to take their business elsewhere.

DO NOT COME HERE! Pleasant View Golf Course is a Nightmare! I have been coming to Pleasant View Golf Course in Louisville, OH, periodically for 20 years, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt: DO NOT COME HERE! I don't know if ownership or management has changed, but this place has plummeted downhill, becoming an absolute nightmare.The staff here is beyond rude. They act as if they're running a championship golf course, which utterly drains any semblance of fun out of the game. Apparently, anything over one practice swing is deemed excessive. You'll have their "watchdog" descend upon you, practically demanding you hit the ball. And speaking of their "watchdog," it's apparently perfectly acceptable for them to move your cart while you're trying to golf, rifle through all your personal possessions, and just take whatever they want! This is not only incredibly intrusive but also completely unacceptable behavior for any establishment, let alone a golf course. To top off this horrendous experience, their ancient 1980s golf cart technology consistently thinks you're off-route, even when you are clearly on the designated cart path. Our cart completely locked up, refusing to drive forward for the last three holes. This left us with no choice but to complete the final stretch in reverse, which was an absolute nightmare. The most infuriating part? They watched us the entire time – not one single person, not one, came down to offer assistance when our cart wouldn't move forward on the path.This place is a joke. Save your money, your time, and your sanity, and go somewhere else.
