Summary: if your age starts with a “1” or a “2”, play elsewhere Played 18 with my brothers on a midweek afternoon tee time, the course itself was great and we enjoyed our game, but I wish this review ended there… Our tee time was set for mid-afternoon and our group was early by a few minutes. That didn’t matter to the course marshal though, who told us from the gate that we were behind schedule and to hurry up and meet him at hole 10 (we had to play the course backwards due to league play on the front 9. Not a big deal to us, we didn’t mind). Once we set up on the 10th hole, the marshal gave us a rundown of when the carts were due back (8:30) along with some advice on the 10th hole. Again, not a big deal to us and we appreciated his input. At first. We were able to finish 17 holes of golf in our round, the marshal followed us within 100-200 yards for 14 of those holes, often stopping us to talk, then turning around and telling us we needed to speed up our game. We’re not sure if maybe the marshal was just bored and wanted to watch our game, but it felt like we had eyes on us the entire time we played due to our ages (18 being the youngest in group, 25 being oldest). We all collectively agreed that had we been left alone, we could have easily finished the round before 8:30 I’m sure Indian Ridge has dealt with drunk college students in the past from Miami University, and we fit the college-age demographic. However, our entire group was extremely respectful to both the course and to this marshal, there was no need for the constant supervision. Maybe one day we’ll return, but not for a long time.

First time playing this course. June 1 2025. It was a beautiful and sunny day. Luckily got paired with a threesome who were welcoming to have me join. Back 9 I had the privilege to play with a Miami University Wide Receiver. Was told it's not even 5 minutes away from the campus so expect a lot more younger groups. Pace of play was outstanding. Did start to catch up to the group ahead but that was because they were walking and I had a cart. $52 with cart on the weekend. Very reasonable summer price. Top tier level of maintenance upkeep. Fairways and putting greens were in immaculate condition, rolled and played like I was on a professional course. Few houses. Great open course. The day I played had to be some of the most difficult pin placements I have had to deal with and loved the challenge. Lunch was a double cheeseburger. Not very many condiments out but the Patties were huge. The lady at the bar/register already had Patties on the grill getting ready. Highly recommend this course and would love to come back.

Bravo, Bravo, Bravo - Course is in incredible shape compared to other tracks in the area. Hats off to the greenskeeper and grounds crew - Greens in terrific shape, fairways flawless, traps decent considering the weather we had this past summer! Best deal around! Hat's off to the staff for a job well done!

Fun golf course fair pricing. I wish the short game practice area was more robust. I shot my first under par round here. -1 for a score of 71 on Sunday, June 29th, 2025.

Played the course on 9/6/2025 in the late afternoon and the conditions were solid as well as the course layout. The pace of pay was a bit of an issue, but that’s to be expected. Unfortunately, the ranger told us on hole 15 the carts needed to be returned by 7:50, and there was certainly enough daylight to finish the round. This was not priorly communicated and resulted in a frustrating finish. I would come here again, however notice on issues like this would be valuable to know beforehand.
