This is probably The Most Exclusive Private Golf Course and Country Club, in The World. About 40 Members of The Columbus Country Club, located on Columbus' East Side; decided They had, had enough, of Women Golfers, etc.; playing at The Country Club; and decided to build their own golf course, in The northeastern part of Franklin County. They "pooled" their money, and hired Golf Course Architect Pete Dye, to build That Course. They simply called it, "The Golf Club", as no other name was really necessary. To play The Course, You must either be, a founding member, a descendant, of one of the founders (I'm speculating, here), or a Guest of a Member; no one else, is allowed. I have My Own Opinion, about this, but will keep it, to myself; however, it is not, a good opinion.
