Not worth the price. Paid weekend price - $70 for 9 holes, 2 ppl, cart. The carts are subpar - windshield cracked, window held together with wood frame, not modern. Most holes don’t have a hole guide, nor water in their ball washer. The score card doesn’t have a course map. The greens were decent. As an avid golfer - if you’re going to charge that much, course should at least met the basics well.

I hate posting this but as an avid golfer I would want to know the condition of the course before being extremely disappointed. I’ve played this course several times over the years with few issues, however the course has deteriorated to where it is borderline unplayable. The fairways in many cases had dirt and dead crab grass which made it difficult to find your golf ball, there were orange cones in some the fairways to warn of large mud holes, and the tee boxes were destroyed. The greens were decent but over-watered and like a sponge. The golf carts were dilapidated with no windshields and were dangerous to drive due to the loose steering and alignment issues. This course is in desperate need of help.

I used to play Pleasant hill a lot 15 years ago. It was kind of a hot spot and a nice course to play. I recently started playing again and thought I would take the family to Pleasant hill to play. What a mistake, they have let this course go so bad it’s hardly playable. The fairways are all weeds, the greens are so over watered they are like sponges with water standing in the holes. Your feet sink down and leave footprints when you walk across them, and this is in a July drought. Half of the holes only have poles where the hole description signs used to be so you have no idea what hole you’re even on. Thankfully I had the 18 birdies app so I knew where to go and what to play. The carts are dilapidated and hardly drivable, the steering was going out in the one I had, so I had to be careful not to lose control. The clubhouse and pro shop that used to be so nice, now looks like a hoarder’s mess with stuff stacked up in corners, very unappealing and dirty. The staffs only concern is leaving at 7:30, when it doesn’t get dark until 9. We were asked to be finished at 8, we finished at 7:45 with a group behind us and were treated rudely because we weren’t done at 7:30 and they wanted to go home. Most every course I’ve ever played wants you off by dusk, not an hour and a half before. If you are in the golf course business, you would think the more people you can get out, the more money you can make. And staff should be prepared to stay until dark to accommodate this. Pleasant hill needs a management shift desperately, and a lot of work if they have any hopes of staying in business long term. There are to many nicer courses locally to play at the same price point. Warren county Armco park par 3 course is leaps and bounds ahead of pleasant hill in every way, as well as other local courses. My family will not be spending our money at Pleasant Hill in the future with so many better options out there. Which is really sad given how close this course is to me and how once it was a nice course to play. Pleasant Hill is a hard pass.

The course was in very good condition and the staff was easy-going. I liked the set-up at the range where you can simply insert cash in exchange for how many balls you want without even going into the clubhouse. The bar had a nice selection of drinks and the greens fees were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this course. It offers plenty of challenges while also being somewhat forgiving.

Worst golf experience of my golfing career. Crabgrass fairways that often time could even grow that, dirt fairways mostly. We were actually aiming for the rough to to have grass under the ball. The clubhouse was filled with old trashy golf clubs and headcovers, lost and founds that they were charging money for. Carts were only slightly better than a Walmart shopping cart. Worst part was what I perceived as the owner. Rude is an understatement, Scrooge like. Clearly he is putting nothing back into the course and grubs for every dime out of your pocket. Do not water a single penny here, you back yard is in better shape!
