Beautiful building and golf course, friendly staff. Expensive for the quality, but they're consistent.

Nicest country club in northeast Ohio. Great for the family and a world class golf course

To start with the good, LFCC has a beautiful golf course around the lake, truly amazing views. A perfect venue for a wedding. However, the food is average, and quite expensive for what you get. Membership is also much more expensive than it has a right to be. The staff are a mixed bag, with a few good standouts carrying the rest with their superb effort and attitude.

Absolutely stunning venue and amazing staff. As a wedding photographer (Eighty Eight Photo) I would absolutely recommend this to any of our couples looking for a wedding venue. From a photographic point-of-view, Lake Forest Country Club offers an amazing balance of outdoor spaces and historic architecture. The exterior of the clubhouse welcomes you with historic Tudor aesthetics and is surrounded by mature greenery, a picturesque lake, and a breathtaking bridge. Walking through the indoor space, the ornate hand carved dark wood accent historic architecture. Lake Forest Country Club has found an amazing way to combine warm historic architecture and modern amenities setting the perfect stage for your event. Having worked on their grounds many times over the years, I can’t say enough good things about Lake Forest Country Club. From a vendor’s standpoint, their staff is best described as a well oiled machine. They are talented, fun to be around, and super accommodating. The indoor spaces are designed in a way that every room feels intentional and different while still being photographically cohesive. From large scale architecture to beautiful crafted nooks and crannies every square foot screams old school elegance. And finally, from a visitor’s perspective, there are very few places that can combine an upscale feel while creating an environment that promotes casual fun. Everything you could want is nestled into an easily traversable grounds without feeling packed in.

Lake Forest CC is a wonderful venue for a wedding! Our son and daughter-in-law's wedding (July 2022) was beautiful and perfect! Stephanie, the event coordinator was so easy to work with, very responsive and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone at LFCC made planning a pleasure for the bride/groom and the bride's parents who live out of state. The grounds, banquet area, and patio along the lake are all so gorgeous! Truly the perfect setting for a wedding. The food was exceptional.... and we know this because so many guests commented and complimented. Last weekend our new daughter-in-law said she thought her wedding was the best ever! Everyone in the family agreed 100%! We highly recommend Lake Forest CC for all its beauty, great food and wonderful staff. Outstanding choice!
