I have been wanting to play Ellsworth Meadows for the past 2 years. The course fully lived up to my expectations. Service in the pro shop, by the starter, and the mtce workers was all friendly and helpful. I got the sense they truly wanted to make the round enjoyable. There was a lot rain the day prior and there must have been over 20 workers on the course making it look in great condition. I was the first off at 7:04am and ran into some of the workers on a few holes. They were extremely courteous and stopped their work to allow me to complete the hole. In regards to the layout of the course, the mix of lengths, shapes and use of water features was outstanding. The condition of the tees, fairways and greens were pristine. In addition to a quality facility there were a few other little things that put this course over the top: Very good signage directing you to holes and tees. Water jugs available on the hot day. Several lavatories on the course. Ball cleaners every other hole. My favorite hole was #17. A risk reward par 5 with the green reachable on your second shot if brave enough.

First time here. Super affordable and course was in immaculate shape, greens rolling true. Fun layout with some good risk reward opportunities. They also have the Finn/Eagl scooters which are a blast.

The course itself is fantastic. It's always in great shape. No complaints on the course itself. However, I was told that you can't play 9 holes before 1pm on the weekends "due to high demand." Firstly, I'm here to bring you my business and it felt like you scolded me. Secondly, I didn't have time to spend 5 1/2 hours on a golf course, so I could only play 9. It's my god given right. Not only are you still charging mid summer rates near October, but now you're telling me how many holes I'm allowed to play? Are you kidding me?? Imagine going to a gas station and the attendant telling you that you can only fill up your car before 1pm. Or going to a donut shop and only having the option to buy a dozen donuts before 1 pm. Get off your high horse and be grateful that us golfers are still giving you business with the ridiculous rates these days.

Course is a local jewel. Redesign by Brian Huntley is challenging and fun to play. Staff is great! Like another reviewer the players need to fix ball marks, rake traps, replace divots and maintain a reasonable pace of play. A ranger might be a good idea. I think the green fees are too low. All in all a good track.

This was our first time playing Ellsworth Meadows in Hudson. Staff were courteous and professional. Nice little pro shop. Grabbed a Devitis Sub at the turn. Course was in excellent condition. Nice layout. Pace of play was excellent. Challenging at times but very fun to play. Greens were fast, put some touch on your putts and control the speed.Hit a few good approach shots that hit the green and rolled off. We will definitely be back 👍🏻
