First time playing Walden Ponds, and I was really impressed. The course layout was awesome, and the conditions were pure. I will definitely be back!

First of all greens are really good!!! Played here 3 times in the last couple years and different times of the year and the greens have been receptive and very pure!!! Downhill putts can be lightning so have to watch where you leave your approach shot.... Overall golf course layout is good also, the rough has been patchy but the greens and fairways have been in good shape... Cart paths are absolutely horrible!!!! Bunkers were in good shape.... Driving range is just fine and the hiring area is great as it's nice and flat and the grass is just like a tee box.... Really cool history with the mansion being the pro shop, restaurant and bar areas..... Practice putting and chipping greens ( 2 of them ) are also in great shape just like the course... Can't wait to be back!!!

I've been planning and executing events for 10+ years and was shocked at the lack of service provided by Walden Ponds. If you're considering hosting an event here, I would reconsider. Tables & Chairs were not at the activity holes per our request (& confirmation from WP staff) WP team was still mowing the course at 6:30 AM. Our team was approved to be there for setup at 6:00 AM with no mention of any issues. There were no Beer Carts or available drinks for the players until well after 9:30 AM as they were “restocking” We did not have access to the golf cart or hole assignments until we asked, well after registration had started. (Confirmed with staff they would be provided at the registration tables). WP Team was supposed to help with the signage and delivering the items to the holes (Chairs/Tables/Coolers that would not fit in the gold carts. We were denied usage of the utility carts so we had to wait on their staff to be available to deliver these items which was after 9 AM. The Yard Signs were placed by the WP team but we had to place our own banners after being told their team could assist (multiple times and well in advance). Incorrect yardage for the Hole-In-One contest rendering it void by the insurance company. WP staff specifically recommended this hole per our original conversation about event set up. Pavilion was not set up and ready for the event. The WP team was leaf blowing while we were trying to set up the dessert table and cigar bar. Our team had to clean off the tables and chairs in the space as it appeared they hadn’t been cleaned after a previous event. Lunch buffet setup was unacceptable for a $10,000 event. Condiments were set out in storage buckets. The WP staff kept removing our sponsorship signage without speaking to us about alternate placement. The attitudes of ALL WP staff was largely annoyed/unhelpful. I didn’t receive a smile from any of the staff members and was met with eye rolls and disgruntled responses when asking for service. The cart girls only serviced half of the course - our volunteers and attendees mentioned not seeing them for hours during game play. Our golf pro was the most helpful but still seemed annoyed by some of the requests. It seemed as though overall the WP staff was not prepped by the events dept for this event as someone on their team asked “Are you having lunch here too?” The cart provided to the president of the company had a flat tire and our team had to deliver their first round of drinks because the cart girls were MIA.

Nice fairways and greens, but over $70 for a course that does not have playable bunkers on 3/4 of the course is hilarious. There is no sand in them; it's like hitting off concrete. Again good course, overpriced however.

Out of this world golf course. Wide fairways, big greens, beautiful vistas. We played the tips Terry Schill shot a stellar 69 with four birdies. Fun for all levels. Play the correct tees and have fun.
