⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atunyote Golf Club at Turning Stone is as good as it gets in upstate New York. The course is immaculate — lush fairways, fast greens, and a peaceful, well-designed layout that makes every hole feel special. The whole property feels private and exclusive, and it’s always in top condition. The practice facilities are excellent, with a full driving range, short game area, and a large, smooth putting green that mirrors the quality of the course greens. The clubhouse is beautiful — upscale but welcoming. The men’s lounge is a great spot to relax post-round, and the pro shop has everything you’d expect from a top-tier golf destination. We had both breakfast and lunch out on the back patio overlooking the 18th green, and it was one of the highlights of the day. The views are perfect and the food is solid across the board. One small note: service can get a little slow when there are more than a few groups in the bar or out on the patio, but the staff is always friendly and doing their best to keep up. Overall, Atunyote delivers a five-star experience from the moment you arrive until the last putt drops. Can’t wait to come back.

Exceptional course. Highly playable for all skill levels and experience. The grounds are spectacular, service/marshalling is superior to any course. There’s a reason for the price tag and it’s a great value for the experience. Played with a group of 8. Will be back.

Beautiful wide open course. The longest of the 3 Turning Stone courses and personal favorite. There is no single signature hole but the back 9 has several holes that are memorable.

Didn’t have time to stop and play, which is good because I was technically working and have no idea how to play. ⛳️ It didn’t matter. You can still just visit the pro shop for some high quality gifts and check out the view from the gigantic rear patio of the clubhouse (patio is accessible through the pro shop).

I recently had the opportunity to play at Atunyote for the first time, and while the experience started off on a high note, it ultimately fell short of expectations given the premium price tag. The service at the beginning was commendable, and the course itself was absolutely beautiful, showcasing well-maintained greens and stunning scenery. However, several issues marred the experience. Firstly, there was a lack of information provided about the course layout; we were not informed that it was cart path only, which wasn't the biggest deal, but would have been nice to know ahead of time. Additionally, one of the holes featured a sand trap that was completely filled with water, which was quite unexpected and frustrating at you could not see this from the fairway. During our four-hour round on a Sunday, we were disappointed to never see the cart girl, missing out on the refreshments we were hoping for. After our round, we decided to have lunch on the deck, but after ordering and waiting for forty minutes, we were only approached when another table needed assistance. To our surprise, we were informed that our food had been ready for a while, yet no one thought to bring it to us outside where we had indicated we’d be. Overall, the combination of beautiful surroundings and initial good service was overshadowed by the lack of communication and follow-through. For the price, I would recommend considering one of their other courses, as this experience did not justify the cost.
