Very challenging course. Impressive views. Very upscale. Played here twice and enjoyed both visits. Extremely clean well kept grounds.

I had the pleasure to play three consecutive days this past weekend. What a treat and a challenge it was. Beautiful old Donald Ross design that takes a few times around to get the hang of because of the unique greens. #8 for example is literally about a 40-45 degree slope, the ENTIRE green from back to front. If you are above the hole or putting across the slope good luck. The staff and food are very good, amazing chicken quesadilla. I think there are also 6-7 holes where you tee off and cannot see the green from the tee. Bunkers are excellent and very consistent. Because of so many unique pin positions available you could play this course all the time and not get tired of it.

Wanted to add a few comments on my recent play at Glens Falls. I am a member of the 2 X 4 golf league who played the course Monday August 29. The course condition and layout is just sensational! For me it is a real privilege to get to play such a gorgeous venue. From the time our clubs are handled till we depart, the carpet is rolled out and we are treated with a first rate experience. The same goes for the banquet staff cooks and bar help. It goes without saying I really enjoy our opportunity to play your awesome course. We had enjoyed the Oktoberfest feast greatly. The food was quite authentic and very delicious also the choices of beers included some directly from Germany. The property is meticulous. To top it off there was energetic live entertainment al fresco to wrap up the evening.
