I have played Dutcher for over 40 years. Recently myself and two colleagues had a 6:15pm tee time. It was approximately 6:20 when we started as there was a foursome in front of us. We had a nice time. On the eighth hole a respectful gentleman came to us and said it’s getting late. This was around 8:00pm. He told us we could Finnish our hole and to please wrap it up. Our response was no problem. 5 minutes later another man came flying down the hill yelling at us that we were taking to long. He was screaming at us that we had to leave immediately, and that he was sick of people like us!! He then said he had to drive over 2 hours to get here and that he was going to lock the gate with our car inside. We were all taken back as anyone could imagine. At this time my colleagues were trying to get their gear in a scramble, while I tried to calm and reason with this lunatic. Then it hit the fan. One of my colleagues golf carts front wheels touched the green in his rush to get his ball. It was an honest mistake. This guy really went wild! Screaming get off the green! Cursing us out the whole time screaming obscenity’s I dare not mention. Screaming it cost $100,000.00 a year to maintain each green.Upon returning to the club house and speaking with a lovely young couple that were behind us we were all stunned. The First Gentleman was nice and told us we could drive our carts to our car to unload our gear. We opted not to and just parked not to take anymore time. At this point it was 8:20pm not unreasonable for a threesome to be coming in. Then this guy who’s name I later found out is Shean preceded to start with us again. The young couple behind us took off. At this point it almost became physical. My colleagues and I held our composure and left. It cost us $90.00 to be to have our entire evening ruined. I returned first thing the next morning to speak to someone. I was met by the first respectful gentleman. He agreed the way we were treated was wrong. However Shean was in charge even though he’s a hot head. He offered no compensation and said that’s just the way Shean runs things. I will never play there again so long as this man is there and shame on Dutcher’s owners for hiring and putting someone in charge like this jerk Shean. My final advice, don’t play at Dutcher. If you do don’t play twilight!!!!!

Fantastic when not busy. Casual experience, fun course, best deal around for round and cart. Especially good course for beginners to learn.

Beautiful and challenging course. Lot of fun and the staff here is always helpful and friendly. Always love playing here.

We usually play Vails Grove, but decided to play Dutcher today instead. The four us all agreed we liked it and would be back. It definitely needs some stop/go signs as there's a LOT of hitting blind (to which we almost got nailed on our tee box). But the grounds were well maintained and a lot less weeds than Vails.

It was a pretty nice course. There’s a lot of times where you can’t see over the hill so you don’t know if you’re hitting into someone. It would be nice to have a gong or something over the hills so you know when to hit.
