A simple request. We were called away today from the resort where breakfast lunch and dinner are included. Sadly, As we Couldn’t be here during the hours lunch was available, we didn’t have three meals today. We went to the front desk and spoke to a very nice young man named Steven about possibly allowing us to have our lunch from today, tomorrow on checkout day. Checkout is a comfortable 12 noon and we thought we’d have lunch before we set out home.. We were told we couldn’t do that. Steven checked with the manager and that’s not allowed. This is not an inexpensive resort. It is beautiful and it is worth it. However, this decision does not coincide with the level of service that is usually given at a resort of this caliber. We were not asking for something for nothing. You pay for your meals included in your fee. Bad form Mohonk. Unfortunately, this left a stain on otherwise beautiful birthday weekend.

Recently stayed here for 2 nights as part of a school retreat. I didn’t want to leave! The food was top notch, the environment was very relaxing, and there was a lot to do! We had perfect weather- we were able to hike & do water activities. Didn’t have time to make it to the indoor pool. My only wish is that they had an outdoor pool. The price does seem quite steep, but it’s all inclusive! Especially love the coffee/tea hour with cookies!

A Memorable Stay at Mohonk Mountain House I recently stayed at Mohonk Mountain House and was truly impressed by its rustic charm and historic character. The setting is absolutely breathtaking—panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and lake make it feel like a retreat into nature. The outdoor amenities, from hiking trails to lake activities, were top-notch and added so much to the experience. Service throughout the resort was excellent. The staff were warm, friendly, and always eager to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Dining at The Granary was a highlight—the food was incredible and the casual outdoor setting was perfect. Dinner at the main dining room offered a great menu, though the meals were a bit hit or miss in terms of execution. Overall, I’d highly recommend Mohonk Mountain House for a fun and relaxing family getaway in any season. Whether you're looking to unwind or explore the outdoors, this place has something for everyone.

We stayed at the Mohonk Mountain Resort for the weekend of 9/6 and loved it. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to help us. Our room had an amazing view of the lake and mountains, and the food was delicious. The Victorian-style room was quiet and cozy. It was a great stay!
